February 13, 2025Bullying is an act of repeated aggressive behavior in order to intentionally hurt another person, physically or mentally. It’s an act of taking his or her frustration out on the being they deem weaker than them. A bully’s mentality is to gain power over another person. It can be a form of verbal/physical abuse or cyber bullying.
It’s a very huge and complex issue in today’s world and order. we will try to put some light on and help you out with these issues and make you aware, of what steps you can take against these occurrences:
Here are few tips:
First thing you can do is simply ignore them. This will not give them the satisfaction they expect.
Standing up to a bully will threaten his/her power. Bullies don’t expect their victims to stand up against them, so it will shock them. As most of them need an audience to show off, you standing up to them will deny them their motive to bully.
Most bullies need your reaction, if you don’t give what they want. It will fail their attempt and only embarrass them in some scenarios.
In case things get out of hand and bully gets physical, go to the authorities and file complaint against them.
You should talk to someone about the problems you are facing. Having someone by your side will give you numbers. And a bully can never mess with the numbers as He/She will know, You are not alone.
Cyber bullying happens online. In today’s day and era the majority of people are online and connected with each other. Where there are platforms like Facebook, Instagram, snap chat, the chances of getting a stalker becomes higher. Few might like having stalkers. Might make them feel like one of the celebrities. But trust me, its not.
Thankfully there are ways that can be used to stop a cyberbully:
*Ignore the messages the bully sends you. Bullies want you to respond, and get your reaction, so responding could give them the satisfaction of what they did.
*If extreme threats are made online, you can always go to the authorities like cyber cell.
*Also save the conversations and messages that bully sends you and warn them to use it against them. It might give them some hesitation to bully again.
*Cut off all the communication in the last. If you are able to block their email, phone number, or whatever source they are using, cutting off would add things to your advantage and scare them.
