Agniveer Vayu Science Group and Non-Science Group Selection Process
IAF will conduct the Agniveer Vayu science group and non-science group exams to recruit candidates for the Indian Air Force. The selection process comprises 3 stages, i.e. online test, PFT, adaptability test and medical verification.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Selection Process
Candidates refer to the below information to understand the Agniveer Vayu science group and non-science group selection process:
Stage 1: Online Written Exam
Stage 2: PFT + Adaptability Test
Stage 3: Medical Verification
Agniveer Vayu Science Group and Non-Science Group – Stage 1
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements will be eligible to appear for stage 1 of the selection process, i.e. an online test. The following is the list of parameters on which the Agniveer Vayu science group and non-science group will be based:
- The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi language
- The questions will be of objective nature.
- For every correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted, and for every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Agniveer Vayu Science Group and Non-Science Group – Stage 2

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates who qualify for the document verification round must adhere to the Physical Fitness Standards mentioned in the below table:

Adaptability Test- I
The adaptability test l shall inspect the involvement of deployment in various geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.
Adaptability Test- II
The adaptability test ll will test the candidate’s ability to adapt to the Indian Air Force environment and their adjustment to the military life.
Agniveer Vayu Science Group and Non-Science Group – Stage 3
The medical test is the third stage of the selection process is conducted before the allotment of the final appointment. The following pointers provide the list of the medical tests:
- Urine RE/ME
- Biochemistry
- ECG (R)
- Serum Cholesterol
- Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine
- X-Ray chest (PA view)
- Blood Sugar Fasting & PP
- Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
- LFT- Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT
- Tests for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Abuse
- Other necessary test in the opinion of the Medical Officer
