West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2025 Schedule(Tentative)
The Department of Health and Family Welfare (DHFW), Kolkata, will issue the WB NEET 2025 counselling schedule. The WB NEET 2025 counselling registration will likely begin in July 2025, and end on August 2025. NEET UG Counselling Procedure 2025
The MCC NEET UG counselling procedure will include registration, counselling fees, seat allotment, etc. Candidates can find the complete process in the following sections.
MCC NEET UG Counselling Registration 2025
Candidates who qualify for NEET 2025 will be asked to register for the NEET counselling process. They had to visit the official website of MCC for the 2025 counselling session. Check the below steps to register for NEET counselling.
On the homepage, select the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ tab.
Click on the ‘New registration’ link.
Enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, email ID, mobile number, and other details (as shown in the image below).
The user ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID.

MCC NEET 2025 Counselling Fee Payment
Candidates will pay the NEET UG registration fee after successfully filling out the NEET counselling registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable. Candidates can pay the fee using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
MCC NEET 2025 Choice Locking
The choice-locking step includes choosing the preferred courses and colleges. Candidates will see a list of the colleges for which they are eligible. Then they are advised to select the preferences in order of their priority.
Candidates should be careful when submitting their choices and double-check all the options. Once the choices are locked, or the dates of choice filling for counselling are over, they cannot make any further changes.
MCC NEET 2025 Seat Allotment Result
In the NEET seat allotment process, the authorities will allot seats to the candidates per the merit list based on their NEET 2025 scores. The MCC releases the seat allotment list highlighting the candidates’ admission seat status for the respective round. After processing all the choices and the merit list, authorities will announce the NEET seat allotment result.
MCC NEET 2025 Reporting to College
Once the NEET seat allotment process is done, the candidates will be asked to report to the allotted college within the specified time. A time frame of 10 to 11 days is given to the candidates to confirm seats and report to the allotted institute.
MCC NEET 2025 Fee Payment for Admission
Candidates will have to pay the tuition fee and confirm their admission. The tuition fee will vary as per the owner of the institute. Candidates joining the colleges under 15% AIQ/Central Universities must pay INR 10,000/- if from the general category and INR 5,000/- if from the reserved category. However, the candidates of all categories in Deemed University should pay INR 2,00,000.

Documents Required for NEET Counselling
Selected candidates must report to the college within a specific period. Also, candidates must carry important documents per the instructions at the reporting time. Candidates can follow the below list to know the documents required during NEET counselling:

NEET Counselling: Process of Exit and Forfeiture
Check the detailed process of counselling rounds for NEET exam-exit and forfeiture:
Exit (Applicable for Round 1 only): If a candidate has been allotted a seat in Round 1 but does not wish to report or join the allotted institute, they will not be penalised. Also, the security deposit will not be forfeited. Such candidates will be eligible for the subsequent rounds of the counselling process.
Exit with Forfeiture: If candidates are allocated seats in Round 2 and do not wish to join the allotted college, they can still exit with forfeiture. In this case, they will be losing the security amount deposited. They will have to choose this option within the specified time frame.
Please note that candidates, who have been allotted a seat in the NEET second round of counselling, will not be eligible to resign or surrender their seats. Furthermore, these candidates will not be allowed to participate in state counselling.
NEET Counselling 2025 – Mop-up Round
Here is the procedure that will be followed for the NEET mop-up round counselling for Central/Deemed Universities/ ESIC/ AIIMS and JIPMER:
Fresh Registration for the mop-up round (please note that registration is not required for the candidates who have resigned in the earlier NEET admission rounds).
Once the candidates have registered, they must fill in their preferences for the respective institutes and courses.
