AMUEEE Counselling Procedure 2023: Important Updates

The authorities will shortlist candidates based on AMUEEE 2023 ranks for the counselling procedure. It will be held tentatively in September 2023. Candidates whose names are on the merit list will be eligible to move forward with the AMUEEE counselling process. For the smooth conduct of the counselling process, candidates must abide by the rules and regulations. Here are the enlisted steps to be followed:-

 1st Step: Registration for counselling

1. The Candidates will be required to register for the AMUEEE 2023 counselling process. 
2. The candidates must register themselves online on the AMU official website.
3. It is important to preserve the login ID and password, which will be required to complete the counselling process. 
4. Candidates will be required to attach important documents mandatorily.

2nd Step: Seat Allocation

The Seat Allocation will depend on various factors such as desired subject, stream, specialisation, etc. 

1. Shortlisted candidates will get a choice to fill their preference by choosing to enter the desired course, branch, main subject, stream, specialisation etc. 
2. Based on the merit list, AMU will provide candidates with their preferred choice.
3. If the merit of a candidate is not meeting the criteria of a particular course, then the candidate’s next preferred choice will be allotted.
4. It will take place in various rounds, so if someone is not allotted the desired seat in the first round, they still have a chance of getting their desired seat in the succeeding rounds.

3rd Step: Document Verification Stage

In this process, candidates must produce their verification documents which include:-

1. The admit card: Original admit card with a photocopy (self-attested)
2. The scorecard 
3. Call Letter (Original admit card with a photocopy: Self-attested)
4. Class X and Class XII mark sheets.
5. Class X certificate or any other legal document as a birth proof document
6. Extracurricular certificate
7. Migration Certificate
8. Photo ID Proof: Adhaar Card, Passport, Pan Card, etc.
9. Candidates are required to carry photocopies of each document. Candidates must keep it ready and self-attested.
10. Demand Draft attached in favour of Aligarh Muslim University with the fee amount.
11. Passport size photograph
12. NOC or No Objection Certificate from the concerned authority.
13. Medical Certificate
