AP EAPCET Counselling 2025: Know Eligibility Criteria

To take part in the AP EAPCET counselling process, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• The applicant must have successfully passed the AP EAMCET with a valid score and rank.
• Students must have received at least 45% (or 40% for reserve category candidates) in their Class 12 or equivalent examination.
• By December 2025, candidates must be at least 16 years old. If applicants want to be considered for the B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology), and B.Sc. programmes, they must be at least 17 years old (Agriculture Engineering).
• For candidates who fall under the SC and ST categories, the upper age limit is 22 and 25 years, respectively.
• Candidates must be citizens of India or possess PIO/ OCI cards.
• They should be from the states of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates must have passed the AP EAMCET test in 2025 with a minimum combined score of 45% in the required subjects. Those who fall under the reserved category must score at least 40%.

Stages of AP EAMCET Counselling 2025

Registration and Payment of AP EAMCET Counselling Fee

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to pay the AP EAMCET counselling registration fee.

• 1st Step: Visit the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and click on EAPCET-2025 admissions.
• 2nd Step: Click on the link which says to register.
• 3rd Step: Enter the ‘AP EAMCET Hall Ticket No.’ and ‘Date of Birth’.
• 4th Step: Verify all the details in the registration form.

Upon verifying that there are no mistakes in the information provided in the form, candidates should accept the declaration and proceed toward the processing fee payment gateway.

Details of AP EAMCET Counselling Fee

Candidates can pay for their web counselling using credit/ debit card/ net banking etc.

Note: Candidates are advised to take a printout of the payment receipt for the verification round.

Document Verification at Helpline Centre

Document verification will be conducted both online and offline. Candidates who pay the counselling fee and verify their documents online need not submit any more certificates. They can directly pay for their processing fee cum registration.

Candidates can check their document verification status by providing their hall ticket number and date of birth. The screen will display the candidate’s details. Candidates will get one of the following two messages:

• “Candidate is eligible for exercising options“ = The candidates can proceed toward option entry.
• “Candidate is not eligible, or certificate verification is in progress” = Their documents have not yet been verified and approved. Such candidates may have to upload additional documents to complete the document verification process.

AP EAPCET Counselling Option Entry

After the candidates successfully register for the AP EAMCET counselling process, they must log in again for option entry. In this step, the candidates have to select the colleges and courses in which they want to get admission, in order of their preferences and ‘save’ the selected options.

AP EAMCET 2025 Seat Allotment 

Candidates will be allotted seats based on their performance in the entrance test, rank, availability of seats, and reservation criteria. They can check the seat allotment status for their colleges’ preferences by logging in to their candidate portal. Aspirants must download the provisional seat allotment letter sent by the university from the website and proceed with the admission process.

Reporting to Allotted Institute

After the allotment of the seats, candidates must report to the respective institutes with the seat allotment letter and the necessary documents on the date of admission. Candidature will be cancelled if they do not submit the documents on the given date at the time of self-reporting.

Candidates must bring all the specified documents for counselling. The officials will verify them to check if all the information provided by the candidate is correct. In the case of false information, the authorities will reject the candidate’s candidature. The AP EAMCET counselling documents list is as follows:
