Army Public School Teacher Selection Process

Before getting into the details of the Army Public School Teacher Syllabus & Exam Pattern, let’s overview the Army Public School Teacher Selection Process. Candidates who apply for Army Public School Recruitment will be selected in 3 stages, and they are as follows:

1. Stage 1: Online Screening Test: Candidates who successfully applied for the exam will be eligible to appear for the Online Screening Test. Qualified candidates of the Stage 1 exam will be given the APS Teacher scorecard. Candidates who have Army Public School Teacher Recruitment Score Card will be eligible to appear for further stages of the exam.
2. Stage 2: Interview: After the Online test is concluded, each participating school will announce vacancies through various means like local newspapers, the school website, notice board etc. Interested candidates must apply in response to these notifications.
3. Stage 3: Evaluation Of Teaching Skills And Computer Proficiency:  For Language teachers, a written test comprising Essay & Comprehension of 15 marks each will be held along with evaluating teaching skills. Selection Committee may also hold Computer proficiency tests if they so desire.

Note – 

1. The total marks obtained by the candidates will be normalized to 100 marks.
2. For every incorrect answer, 0.25  0r 1/4th marks will be deducted.
3. Candidates have thedom to answer questions from Part A and Part B in whichever order they prefer.
4. Candidates must secure at least 50% to qualify for the examination.
