BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

To apply for BITSAT 2025, all the candidates conform to the BITSAT eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria consist of multiple factors, including the qualifying exam, the score required in the qualifying exam, compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam, and more.

• Qualifying exam – Candidates who have passed or will be appearing for the Class 12 exam in a 10+2 pattern from a central or state board or equivalent are eligible based on the qualifying exam norms.
• Compulsory subjects – Candidates appearing for BITSAT must have attained the minimum score requirements in the qualifying exam. The mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam must be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology (for B.Pharma). Also, the candidate must be proficient in the English language.
• Minimum score – Merely passing the qualifying exam is not enough. Candidates must attain a minimum aggregate score of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates should be adequately proficient in English. Along with sustaining the minimum aggregate score, candidates must have 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.
• Year of passing – The candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum score requirements in compulsory subjects in the years 2024 and 2025.
• BITSAT age limit – BITS has set no minimum age limit for applying for admission to the institute.
• Nationality – The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Note: Candidates who get the first rank in their board examinations will be directly admitted to the program they prefer, irrespective of their BITSAT 2025 score. This applies to students of both central and state boards.
