How to Fill BSF Application Form?

The BSF Application Form can be filled via online mode only. Candidates can check the step-by-step procedure to know the procedure to fill the BSF Online Form 2022:

• Step 2: Click on the ‘Recruitment‘ option on the homepage.
• Step 3: Read the instruction related to the application form carefully.

BSF Eligibility Criteria

MI Fleet in BSF Air Wing

The eligibility for MI Fleet in BSF Air wing is specific to the post applied for. The maximum age limit is 56 years and there is requirement of Flying Experience depending on the post. The detailed eligibility for each of the post is provided in the official notification.

Senior Inspector (Engine Driver)

1. Candidates must be 22 to 28 years of age to apply for this post. 
2. Candidates must have cleared the 10+2 level exam from a recognized board of education in India.
3. Candidates must be having a first-class engine driver certificate issued by the state or central mercantile marine department or inland water transport authority. 

Senior Inspector (Workshop)

1. Candidates must be 20 to 25 years of age.
2. Candidates must have completed graduation in mechanical engineering from a recognized University in India, or three years diploma in marine or mechanical or automobile engineering from a recognized University. 

Head Constable (Master)

1. Candidates must be 20 to 25 years of age.
2. Candidates must have a Serang Certificate, and matriculation or equivalent certificate issued by a recognized board of education in India. 

Senior Inspector (Master)

1. Candidates must be of 22 to 28 years of age. 
2. Candidates must be having a 10+2 or equivalent level certificate issued by a recognized board of education in India. 
3. Also, candidates must have a second class master certificate issued by the state or central mercantile marine department or inland water transport authority.

Head Constable (Workshop)

1. Candidates must be 20 to 25 years of age. 
2. Candidates must be having a 10+2 or equivalent level certificate issued by a recognized board of education in India.
3. Candidates must be having a diploma certificate in industrial training institute in respective trade issued by the recognized institute. 

CT (Crew)

1. Candidates must be of 20 to 25 years of age. 
2. Candidates should have a matriculation or equivalent level education certificate from a recognized board of education in India. 
3. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in the operations of a boat below 265 HP. 
4. Candidates must be knowing swimming in deep water without any assistance and should submit an undertaking certificate as provided in Annexure D – 1. 

Head Constable (Engine Driver)

1. Candidates must be of 20 to 25 years of age. 
2. Candidates must be having a second class certificate in engine driving. 
3. Candidates must be having matriculation or any other equivalent certificate from a recognized board of education. 

BSF Air Wing Recruitment

As per the official notification of BSF recruitment candidates belonging to the physically handicapped category are not eligible to apply for this exam. Following are the physical standard requirements to apply for the BSF recruitment 2022:

Medical Standards

The minimum distant vision of the applicants applying to this post should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without glasses. They must pass the high-grade colour vision test. Applicants should not have knock-knees, quint in eyes, varicose vein or flat feet and should hold CP- III by ISHIHARA.
