BSF Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2022: Tradesman

Before applying for the BSF Recruitment 2022, candidates must check the eligibility criteria as their candidature depends on that. The conducting body will not accept the application invites from those candidates who do not have the minimum education qualification, age limit, and mandatory experience as the Border Security Force norms.

MI Fleet in BSF Air Wing

The eligibility for MI Fleet in the BSF Airwing is specific to the post applied for. The maximum age limit is 56 years and a Flying Experience requirement depends on the post. The detailed eligibility for each of the posts is provided in the official notification.

Senior Inspector (Engine Driver)

  1. Candidates must be 22 to 28 years of age to apply for this post.

  3. Candidates must be having a first-class engine driver certificate issued by the state or central mercantile marine department or inland water transport authority. 

Senior Inspector (Workshop)

  2. Candidates must have completed graduation in mechanical engineering from a recognized University in India, or three years diploma in marine or mechanical or automobile engineering from a recognized University. 

Head Constable (Master)

  1. Candidates must be 20 to 25 years of age.

Senior Inspector (Master)

  1. Candidates must be of 22 to 28 years of age.

  3. Also, candidates must have a second class master certificate issued by the state or central mercantile marine department or inland water transport authority.

Head Constable (Workshop)

In case if candidates have a tattoo on their body. They must have to fulfil the following conditions: 

  1. The tattoos having a name, religious symbols, figures, as followed in India, are allowed. 
  2. The size of the tattoo should be below ¼ of that body part on which it is drawn as a hand or elbow. 
  3. Tattoos drawn on the inner part of the body are allowed only on the left forearm, not on the saluting limb, or a tattoo on the dorsum of hands is permitted.
