CBSE Class 10 Exam Day: Important Guidelines

Check the detailed instructions provided below for the CBSE Class 10 Exam Day Guidelines:

  • Only 18 students will be seated in a room with four superintendents for an examination: The board has asked schools to seat only 18 students in an examination hall to maintain social distance during the ongoing pandemic. As a result, the number of examination halls for Class 10 exams has been raised. In one examination hall, four superintendents will be stationed.
  • Students must bring a personal water bottle and hand sanitiser: All students must bring personal water bottles that are not covered. In addition, the sanitiser they bring must be in a transparent bottle to avoid the possibility of copying during the exam.
  • Entrance to the examination hall requires an admit card: Students must remember to bring their admit card/hall ticket on exam day. Anyone who does not have an admit card will not be allowed to take the exam.
  • Students must rigorously adhere to the COVID protocols: The board has ordered students to closely observe the COVID rules when taking exams to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. From the time they enter the examination hall until they leave, they must wear masks at all times. They’d have to adhere to social distance conventions as well.
  • Keep an eye on the prohibited items: No electronic devices will be permitted inside the testing centre. If a student is found to be breaking the regulations, he or she will face severe consequences. So, study all the directions on the admit card to understand the prohibited objects and those you must bring into the examination hall.
  • Students will be given an extra 20 minutes: This is done so that students can study the question papers before beginning to write them. The invigilators in the exam room will have to ensure that this time is exclusively used to read the question papers.
