Registration is done in Class 9 for students to appear for the board exam in Class 10. How to Fill CBSE Class 10 Registration Form 2025 for Regular Students?
Registration for the Class 10 board exam is done by the respective schools when students are in Class 9. Only those students whose names are submitted through online registration in Class 9 will be eligible to appear for the Class 10 exam for the academic year 2025. The steps to register and submit the examination form are given below:
Step 1: Go to the CBSE official website cbse.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘Main website’ tab.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the new CBSE website. Scroll down and click on the ‘E-Pareeksha’ tab.
Step 4: In the ‘E-pareeksha’ tab, enter the school’s affiliation number as the User ID followed by the password (refer to the image below).
Step 5: The registration form opens where you have to fill in the details of the student, parents, and details of the school. Fill every field with accurate details and click on ‘Proceed.’
Step 6: Pay the registration fee and verify all the details that you have provided.
Step 7: After verifying all the details which you entered in the form, click on the “submit” button.
Step 8: Print or save the registration form for future reference.

CBSE Class 10 Registration Form: Important Instructions
The following important instructions must be followed while registering for CBSE class 10 board exams:
The board examination centre will be allocated on the basis of the home address filled in the online form by the student.
If any wrong information or wrong document was provided during CBSE registration, the registration form will be rejected automatically.
The examination fee for rejected applications will be forfeited.
Students have to make payments before the last date. If not, then the registration form will be rejected without any notice by the CBSE Board.
Only one application form can be submitted per candidate.
Students must verify all the entered details before the final submission of the CBSE Class 10 Registration Form.
CBSE Registration for Private Candidates 2025
CBSE also allows private candidates who have not enrolled as students in a CBSE-affiliated school to attend the Class 10 board exams. However, just like regular students, these private candidates can only submit their CBSE Registration for the Class 10 exam through a CBSE-affiliated school by following the steps given in this article. However, instead of ‘Regular candidates’, they must select the option ‘SUBMISSION OF EXAMINATION FORMS BY PRIVATE CANDIDATES FOR CLASS – X EXAMINATIONS’ while registering.
