November 12, 2024CBSE Class 7 Result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is responsible for regulating the exams for Classes 6 to 9. The Board sets a course structure and curriculum that students must follow if they are appearing for these exams. Once students appear for the exam, they will need to wait for their CBSE Class 7 results. The result tells them whether or not they are promoted to the next class.
While the Board provides a tentative date within which exams must be conducted and results must be announced, the school authorities provide this information. After the exams, the school authorities will only announce the result date to students. Students can therefore collect their CBSE Class 7 results from their respective schools. The CBSE announces a timeline within which exams for all classes must be conducted. Therefore, abiding by those guidelines, the school authorities will announce the exam dates for Class 7. The exams are usually conducted between the months of February and March. The results are declared within a few weeks after the exam. Usually, by the end of March, the results are announced and a new session starts in April. Students can check the important dates of the CBSE Class 7 from the table below:

CBSE evaluates students’ performance based on Continuous and Comprehensive Education (CCE) through Formative and Summative Assessments (FA and SA). The exams are conducted for 100 marks. The summative assessments are 80% marks, whereas the formative assessments are 20% marks. The summative assessment is held for two hours, and students will need to answer questions by writing them down.
