CBSE Extends CTET 2019 Application Date till Sept 25; Apply for CTET @ ctet.nic.in

BENGALURU, September 19: CTET 2019 application form date has been extended by CBSE. Candidates can now apply for CTET 2019 till September 25. The official notification regarding CTET application form dates change was announced on the last day of the application process which was September 18. The examination authority Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the CTET application dates so to facilitate more candidates to apply for the exam.

As per the notification, online application form of CTET 2019 can be filled till September 25 while the examination fee can be paid till September 30. 2019. The application form can be filled online only from the official website – ctet.nic.in. The application filled from any other mode will not be accepted and candidates are advised to read the application process carefully before applying for the exam.

CTET 2019 Application Form – How to Apply

Candidates can apply for CTET 2019 online till September 25. The stepwise procedure to fill the application form is given below.

Step 1 – Visit the official website to register for the exam – ctet.nic.in
Step 2 – Fill the application form by exam user id and password
Step 3 – Fill all the information as required in the application form related to academic qualification, personal details, paper opted for CTET 2019, upload images as required, etc
Step 4 – Pay the application fee as per the category
Step 5 – Download and take a printout of CTET 2019 registration form

CTET is a national level entrance exam conducted every year for endorsing candidates’ aptitude and eligibility for becoming teachers for class 1 to 8 in government and private schools in India. Candidates who qualify the exam become eligible to apply for teachers posts in central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Tibetan School etc. Along with the Central government-funded school, many states and private schools have also started considering CTET as a major eligibility criterion in the teacher recruitment process.

The validity period of CTET certificate for teacher’s appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of the result. If any candidates obtain CTET Certificate in 2019 then are eligible to apply for teacher recruitment for the next seven years.
