CG PET Counselling 2022: Seat Allotment and Admission Process

CG PET Counselling 2022: Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB), Chhattisgarh, has declared the CG PET 2022 result. CG PET 2022 counselling can be attended only by those candidates who have been shortlisted in the entrance exam and qualified in JEE Mains. The counselling will be conducted for allotting seats to the shortlisted candidates in different participating engineering institutes of Chhattisgarh. The counselling committee will do the whole counselling online mode.

Since the CG PET results announcement, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of cutoff scores. Primarily, candidates must register online for the counselling to participate. Then the shortlisted candidates will be called for the CG PET counselling 2022 at one of the prescribed counselling centres. Chhattisgarh PET 2022 counselling will be conducted for admission to various undergraduate engineering programmes offered by state institutes. The counselling is done through a process of centralised online counselling. 

The counselling of CG PET 2022 will be held for admission to institutes including Raipur Institute of Technology, Rungta College of Engineering and Technology etc.

CG PET Counselling 2022 – Detailed Steps

Registration:

Candidates who have been shortlisted for counselling will have to register by filling in all the details and payment of the prescribed fees. To register for counselling, candidates will have to enter the following details:

1. Personal details (name, roll number, domicile, father’s name, date of birth, nationality, gender, category, language, religion, family income etc)
2. Uploading of images (photograph and signature as per the prescribed size by the exam conducting body)
3. Payment of fees as specified by the exam conducting body
4. Option filling – Also, candidates will have to put in the choices of branches and courses which they wish to study. The choices must be given in the order of preference. After filling in the choices, the candidates are advised to take the printout of that form.

Note: Candidates will appear for JEE Mains 2022 will also have to fill out the registration form.

Document Verification:

After successful registration for counselling, the exam conducting body will release a list of centres where the candidates will have to go for document verification. They must carry their original as well as photocopies of all the required documents to the allotted centre for verification of documents for CG PET 2022 counselling. 11. Certificate issued by competent authority for candidates under BPL category 
12. Disability certificate from – District Medical Board, suitability certificate from Superintendent, Government of India, Labour Ministry, Vocational Rehabilitation Centre, Naipur Town, Jabalpur

CG PET Counselling 2022 – Important Points of Document Verification

1. In document verification, candidates are not required to submit the original documents. They can submit photocopies of all the required documents
2. It is compulsory for the candidates to get their documents verified before the allotment. Without this, they will not be considered for seat allotment. 
3. While document verification, if a candidate wants to change any option then they can do it before the confirmation of documents. Once the application has been confirmed then no changes will be accepted 

CG PET 2022 Seat Allotment:

After the verification of documents, the CG PET counselling conducting authority will release a list of candidates along with the allotted course and college. The seats will be allotted as per the marks secured by the candidates and as per their preference filled in while registration. 

Candidates who are satisfied will the CG PET seat allotment 2022 will further have to take admission and those who wish are not satisfied will have to go for the second round of CG PET counselling and repeat the same steps. 

Reporting at the Allotted Centre:

Only those candidates who have been allotted seats will further report to the college along with the allotment letter. In order to get admission, candidates need to provide all the verified documents and pay the prescribed admission fees to get into the allotted college.
