CLAT Exam Centres 2025: Check Test Centres, Cities

The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the list of CLAT exam centres along with the notification. CLAT 2024-25 was conducted offline, i.e., pen and paper-based exams, on December 1, 2024.

CLAT 2025 Exam Centres List
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will be held at 131 exam centres across 89 cities, spread across 25 states and 5 union territories in India. These exam centres are strategically placed to ensure that candidates from various regions have access to the exam with ease. This has been done to minimise travel requirements for examination. Candidates can choose their preferred exam centres while filling out their application forms.

The Consortium of National Law Universities released an official notification along with the registration form for CLAT on July 15, 20224. Candidates who have applied for the exam are suggested to check the exam centres available before completing their application process.     1. Choice of Centres: During the application process, candidates will be required to select their preferred exam centre from the available options listed above. It’s important to choose a centre that’s convenient for travel and based on seat availability. First-Come, First-ServeExam centres are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s advisable to complete the registration early to get your preferred city or centre.Travel Time: Candidates should plan their travel well in advance to ensure they arrive at the exam centre on time, as late arrivals will not be allowed entry into the examination hall.Centre Confirmation: The final exam centre allocation will be confirmed on the admit card. Candidates should check the exam centre and other details carefully once they download their admit card.

How to Find the Allotted CLAT 2024-25 Test Centre?

The allotted exam centre can be different, as the final decision of allotment lies in the hands of the exam conducting body. The applicants are advised to check the allotted CLAT 2024-25 exam centre after the issue of the CLAT admit card online, as there are many factors due to which the allotment of CLAT exam centre 2025 can be changed. The admit cards will be available on the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities. They can be downloaded by entering the applicant’s registration number and password. No objections and editing will be allowed after the final allotment of the exam centre on the admit card. 

CLAT Exam Centres 2025: Exam Day Instructions 

The applicants of CLAT 2024-25 are advised to follow all the instructions given by the exam conducting body. The exam day instructions which are required to be followed at the CLAT exam centre are as follows.

  1. The applicants will have to bring a printout of their CLAT admit card to the allotted exam centre.
  2. The applicants are advised to reach the exam centre half an hour before the reporting time mentioned on the CLAT 2025 admit card. 
  3. The applicants will have to carry a valid ID proof along with them to the CLAT exam centre.
  4. The candidates are advised to reach the exam city a day before the exam day, as mentioned on the CLAT 2025 admit card. No extra stationery will be allowed inside the CLAT exam centre, except black or blue ballpoint pen and pencil. 
  5. There will be no provisions to keep the applicant’s belongings as mobile phones, laptops, iPads, calculators, books, notebooks, bags etc.
