CTET Paper 1 Recruitment 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) every year. CTET is a national-level eligibility test for teachers that determines candidates’ eligibility to teach students from classes 1 to 8. The CTET exam consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for a candidate who intends to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5. On the other hand, paper 2 is for aspirants who want to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8. Candidates have to choose the paper while filling out the application form. Candidates who want to appear for CTET Paper 1 can check the eligibility criteria below:
Age Limit:
The minimum age limit for candidates is 17 years. However, there is no upper age limit.
Educational Qualification:
Aspirants must have passed the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed/appeared for the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
The candidate has passed the Class 12 exam with 45% marks and has passed/appeared for the final year examination for a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE regulations, or
Candidates have passed the Class 12 examination with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appeared for the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed), or
Aspirants have passed the Class 12 examination with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education, or
Candidates have passed the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education course.
Steps To Practice CTET Paper 1 Questions
Candidates can access unlimited CTET Paper 1 practice questions by following the below-mentioned steps:
1st Step: Visit Embibe’s official website, i.e., embibe.com.
2nd Step: Use the mobile number/email to log in.
3rd Step: Click on the “Getting a Government Job” menu bar.
4th Step: Select the Goal “Teaching” from the Dropdown and click on “Next”.
5th Step: Select “CTET Paper 1” and click on “Next”.
6th Step: Select the preferred language and click on “Done”.
7th Step: Click “Practice” from the header section.
8th Step: Scroll down to the “Subjects” section.
9th Step: Click on any CTET Paper 1 subjects.
10th Step: Scroll down to click on the chapters from the selected subject to begin the practice.
CTET Paper 1 Applicaton Form 2023
CBSE opens the application process online on its official website. Candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying for the exam. They can check the steps to apply online for CTET Paper 1 below:
1st Step: Visit the official website – ctet.nic.in
2nd Step: Click on the “Apply Online” link.
3rd Step: Enter basic details such as name, state, identification type, date of birth, gender, etc. A login credential will be generated.
4th Step: Log in with the credentials and complete the application form.
5th Step: Upload the scanned documents as described by the officials.
6th Step: Next, pay the required application fee. It can be paid through a debit card, net banking, or credit card.
7th Step: On successful payment, take a printout of the application form for future use.
