CUET Counselling 2025: Check the Counselling Schedule

NTA authorities will organise the CUET (previously known as CUCET) counselling process soon as the CUET 2025 results are out. The National Testing Agency will declare the CUCET result 2025 on the official website. The counselling process of CUET 2025 will be done via online mode only. Candidates will be allotted seats in their selected courses and university/ institute through the counselling session.

The participating central universities will release the course and category-wise cut-offs on their official website. CUET (UG) Cut-off 2025: Overview

Before the commencement of the CUET counselling, the participating universities will release a course and category-wise cut-off list. CUCET Cut-off 2025 varies depending on the candidate’s selected category and course. The cut-off lists depict the qualifying scores, candidates who secure the qualifying scores will be eligible for the CUCET 2025 counselling process. The central universities will release the cut-off along with the release of the CUCET result or with the release of the counselling notification.

CUET (UG) 2025 Counselling Process

CUET counselling will be conducted by the participating university via online mode. There is no centralized counselling for admission based on CUCET. Participating universities will conduct the counselling procedure separately. Admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the exam. Participating institutes will release the cut-off for CUCET 2025 along with the result of the counselling details.
Candidates meeting the cut-off can apply for CUET counselling at the official website of participating institutes.
All participating universities will release a merit list based on the course preference, rank and qualifying exam score.
The merit list/ Seat allotment list will host the names of candidates eligible to appear at the counselling venue and complete the admission formalities.
Every course and the university will have a separate merit list, also, central universities will release category-wise merit lists.

CUCET Counselling 2025: Reporting Centres

As per the seat allotment list, shortlisted candidates must report at the counselling venue as mentioned in the seat allotment letter. Candidates have to carry certain documents at the time of counselling, officials at the counselling venue will verify these documents.

CUET Counselling 2025: Spot Round

The participating universities will administer counselling for admission based on CUCET 2025 in multiple rounds. The central university will host a separate merit list for admission for each round. Candidates whose names appear on the CUET seat allotment list (merit list) will be eligible for counselling. However, candidates who have registered but did not get their names shortlisted in the merit list will be eligible for the spot counselling round. Central Universities will conduct the spot counselling round for the remaining vacant seats after conducting all the rounds of counselling.
