The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Delhi Police MTS selection process to recruit candidates under the Multi-Tasking Staff such as cook, cobbler, water carrier, safai karamchari, dhobi, tailor, daftri, Mali, carpenter, and barber. Candidates willing to secure their post in the Delhi Police MTS must go through 3 stages, i.e. written exam, trade test and medical examination.
The Delhi Police MTS written exam will be conducted for 100 marks and candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam. Candidates who clear the written test will be eligible for the trade test, and this test will conduct practical tasks for different roles. Written Test: It is the first stage of the Delhi Police MTS selection process. The exam will be based on 3 subjects, i.e. Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, & Current affairs. Candidates must score at least 40% or more to clear the exam.
Trade Test: It is the second stage of the selection process. In this stage, candidates are judged solely on their capabilities for the particular trade they are applying for. The test carries 20 marks and is divided into various tasks.
Medical Examination: The candidates who clear the written and the trade stages will be called in for a medical examination. Once the medical examination is done, candidates will be called in for Police Verification.
The written exam is an OMR-based exam that contains multiple choice-based questions. Candidates can refer to the below table to know the Delhi Police MTS exam pattern:

The Delhi Police MTS trade test is qualifying in nature. One must score at least 10 out of 20 marks to qualify for the next stage. The candidates will also undergo a Bio-metrics and must produce original documents required, if they fail to do, they will not be allowed to give the trade test.
The final merit list includes the list of candidates who have qualified the trade test and secured the highest marks in the written exam.
Candidates will have to undergo a medical examination after the conclusion of the written and the trade test. The medical standard is set different for different categories. The Police Surgeon/Civil Surgeon or Medical Officer appointed by the Commissioner of Police will examine the candidates.
