DU Admission Cut-off 2022: The university will tentatively release DU admission cut-off 2022 in the first week of October at its official website. The details of DU 2022 cut-off marks will be released online at admission.uod.ac.in. However, the DU colleges cut-off marks 2022 for Jesus & Mary College, and St. Stephen’s College will be released a bit early, around the first week of September.

The colleges affiliated to Delhi University will publish the Delhi University admission cut-off 2022 individually. Later on, they will release consolidated stream-wise DU 2022 cut-offs by taking all the colleges together. The cut-off will be released after considering the best of four subject marks of Class 12th. DU Colleges Cut-off Dates 2022

Delhi University will release the 1st DU Admission Cut-Off List 2022 tentatively between September 7 to 10, 2022. After releasing the du first cut-off, candidates can visit du.ac.in to check the cut-off list from the link. Candidates who have not taken DU admission via the first, second, third, fourth and fifth cut-off list are eligible to seek admission through the DU Special cut-off 2nd phase. DU colleges like Kirori Mal College, Hansraj College, Bharati College, Ramanujan College, Daulat Ram College, Hindu College, & Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College will release the DU special cut-off list. 

DU cut-off for merit-based seats is prepared based on the best of four marks of the candidates in the Class 12 exam. As per the official announcement, the university will release 5 DU cut-off lists for the rounds of merit-based admission. The DU cut-off 2022 will be prepared based on several factors such as the number of applicants, availability of seats, and the previous year’s cut-off trends. 

Each participating college will release an individual cut-off in online mode on their official website. The last date to register for DU Admission is October 2022. The candidates can check the cut-off of DU admission 2022 to know the minimum marks required to appear for the university’s admission process. The officials will consider the best of four scores of the aspirants to provide admission to the institute.

DU Colleges With Lowest Cut-off 2022: Determining Factors

DU admission cut-off helps the aspirants know the minimum marks they need to secure admission to the university. The colleges release the category-wise cut-off specifying the opening and closing rank. The officials prepare the DU 2022 cut-off list based on the below-mentioned determining factors:

1. Best of four subjects: The best of four is the average of the highest marks secured by the candidates in any of the four subjects.
2. Programs: The officials also consider the undergraduate courses for which candidates have applied for. 
3. Number of seats: The total number of seats adds to the cut-off prepared for admission to the university. 
4. Number of test-takers: The total number of candidates who have appeared for the test is also considered for the cut-off preparation. 
5. Category: The category to which the candidate belongs.
6. Previous year’s cut-off marks: The present year’s cut-off marks follow the previous year’s cut-off trends.

Relaxation in DU Admission Cut-off 2022

Depending on the category, the candidates will get relaxation in the DU cut-off 2022. Please check the details below.

Note – 5% of relaxation means, if the cut-off is 90%, The relaxation will be allowed for admission with 85% marks. If, after the relaxation, the reserve seats are still vacant, further relaxation would be given to candidates, and it would not be passed on to open-category candidates. However, the relaxed marks cannot be dropped below passing marks.

Delhi University Cut-off

The DU’s fourth cut-off was announced on October 30, 2021. The applicants will be shortlisted based on their score of 10+2 for DU admission. The candidates can analyse the DU previous year cut-off to know the expected qualifying rank of this year. Delhi University Cut-off- Round Wise Cut-off

The DU admission will be conducted in parts consisting of different rounds and a cut-off list will be released in each round of admission.

What After DU Admission Cut-off 2022?

After the release of the DU 2022 cut-off, candidates must know the further procedure of admission. Candidates must follow the below-given steps once the DU cut off list is released:

1st Step: The candidates must check the cut-off and choose the preferred college for admission.

3rd Step: The aspirants need to visit the affiliated college to share their unique registration ID with the Teacher-in-Charge.

The candidates need to carry the below-mentioned documents for verification at the institute:

1. Class 10th and 12th mark sheet
2. Class 12th provisional or original certificate
3. Two passport size self-attested photographs
4. Transfer and Migration certificate
5. Category certificate
6. Class 10th board examination certificate

Post the verification of the documents, aspirants will need to submit the course fee to confirm admission. In case the candidates fail to pay the fee, the officials will cancel the candidature of the aspirants.
