DU Cut-off 2021 (OUT): Check Delhi University Admissions Cut-offs, Courses
DU Cut-off 2021: Delhi University will release the DU special cut-off list for UG courses for Science, Arts, and Commerce streams on October 25, 2021. The admission against the DU 3rd cut-off closed on October 21, 2021 (11:59 pm). Candidates will be able to check DU cut-off online via the official website by entering valid login credentials. DU cut-off will be released for each college, stream, course, category, and round. DU UG admission is either Merit-Based or Entrance Based and a separate cut-off will be released in both cases.
As per the official announcement, the university will release 5 DU cut-off lists for the rounds of merit-based admission. However, if all the DU seats get filled by the third cut-off, then the officials will not release the 4th & 5th cut-off list. A special DU cut-off list would also be released on October 25, 2021, which is after three DU cut-off lists. Candidates will be shortlisted mainly based on their qualifying exam (Class 12) score considering the “Best Four” criteria. The DU cut-off will be prepared based on several factors such as the number of applicants, availability of seats, previous year cut-off trends, etc. In this article, we will provide you with the college-wise and round-wise DU cut-offs.
There are around 90 colleges affiliated with DU offering nearly 56000 seats across various streams. The Delhi University cut-off will vary from college to college and from course to course in various rounds. After each round of DU cut-off 2021, candidates will have to complete the DU admission process which includes reporting to college, admission approval and fee payment. The DU college cut-off will be for merit-based DU admission. The entrance based DU cut-off will be released separately.

Factors Affecting DU Cut-off 2021
The officials will be preparing the DU Cut-off for different rounds which include the course-wise and category-wise cut-off for each college. The different parameters affecting the DU cut-offs are as follows:
Qualifying Exam Score and Best Four Combination – The candidates will be selected considering their performance in the Class 12 exam on the basis of “Best of Four” criteria. Here the average of the four highest marks scored by the candidates will be considered depending on the applied course.
Number of Seats Available – The total seats available in the particular college and course will be considered.
Number of Applicants – The total number of applications received by the applicants received for a particular college and course will be considered.
Previous Year Cut-off Trend – The DU previous year cut-off trend across different colleges, courses and categories are considered.
Delhi University Cut-off 2021 – Round Wise Cut-off
After the conclusion of the DU registration process, the university will be releasing the cut-off scores as per the admission rounds. Presently, under merit-based admission, there will be 5 rounds of cut-off scores. The DU admission will be conducted in parts consisting of different rounds and a cut-off list will be released in each round of admission.

DU Admission Process After Release of DU Cut-off 2021
Delhi University will be conducting the DU admission process in several rounds and round wise DU cut-off will be released for each round. The candidate will then have to follow the DU admission process once the DU round wise cut-off is released. Check the steps below:
1st Step: Once the DU cut-off is released, candidates will have to choose the college and course from the list of colleges and courses they are eligible for.
2nd Step: Candidates will now have to report to the respective college with valid documents such as:
Class 10 and class 12 Mark Sheet
Class 10 provisional or original Mark Sheet
Three passport size photograph
Character Certificate
Transfer Certificate
Migration Certificate
Category Certificate (if applicable)
OBC Non – Creamy Layer certificate (if applicable)
PwD Certificate (if applicable)
Note: Candidates will also have to carry photocopies of their original documents
3rd Step: The candidates will then have to get their documents verified against the original documents and a seat will be approved by the principal as per the candidate’s eligibility and choice.
4th Step: After the approval, the Fee Payment link will be activated on the online DU admission portal. Candidates will have to log in to their account and pay the prescribed fee through online mode.
Change Of College And Course For DU Admission
If the candidate wants to change his college and courses, the candidate will have to cancel his previously approved admission and repeat the above 4 steps for admission to a new college.
Candidates will first have to check his/ her eligibility and should be sure about it.
Candidates will then have to visit the official portal and cancel the present allotted course and college. The fee paid by the candidate will be refunded to the candidate with a deduction of Rs. 1000/-
Now visit the new college and follow the same admission procedure as mentioned above. If the fee in the present allocated college is more than the refunded fee then the candidate will have to pay the rest fee and if the fee is less than the refunded fee then candidates will not have to pay any extra fee and the remaining will be refunded to the candidate.
