Science Exams 2024 — Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: This is the first requirement that aspirants should be aware of when applying for any science exams. To be eligible for science exams in India, usually, a 12th-class certificate is required from a reputed college. For example, if you are applying for JEE Main, you must have an intermediate certificate.
• Age Limit: This is another criterion set by the exam-conducting authorities for science exams. This varies from exam to exam. For example, if you are applying for TS EAMCET, the minimum age limit is 16 years old, while there is no upper age limit. On the other hand, there is no age limit for JEE Main.
• Minimum Marks: Some exams also mandate that you secure a certain number of marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible. For example, JEE Main makes it mandatory for aspirants to have secured at least 75% in the qualifying exam—for SC/ST aspirants, it is 65%. 
• Attempts: The attempts define how many times a candidate can appear for an entrance test because there is a limit to the number of attempts.
