Every year, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) organises the FCI online exam to recruit the best candidates for the Manager posts in various fields such as General, Depot, Movement, Account, Technical Engineer Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Engineer and in different zones. It is one of the largest PSUs working to ensure food security in India. The FCI Manager Phase 2 Notification 2022 was released on August 24, 2022.

Eligible and interested candidates could apply for the Manager Phase 2 exam from August 27, 2022, to September 26, 2022, from the official website fci.gov.in. FCI Manager Salary

Candidates chosen for the position of FCI Manager receive a competitive salary package from Food Corporation of India. The managers will receive the starting basic pay of Rs. 40,000 per month as Officers in Category 2 (for a training period of six months). However, the basic salary of an FCI Manager ranges between 40,000 and 1,40000. They will also be qualified for Dearness Allowance, House Keep Up Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance.

FCI Manager Job Profile 

After the probationary period, the following will be the roles and responsibilities of the selected candidates:

• They are responsible for the work schedule of the jobs between the subordinates and the submission of reports.
• They need to submit the files to their seniors with rule position, scrutiny of data, facts and many more. 
• Head Office Executives and Regional Employees need to work office jobs only.

FCI Manager Nationality

Candidates should fulfil the following nationality requirements while applying for the FCI Manager Grade 2 position:

• They must be a citizen of India.
• He or she is a refugee from Tibet who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962.
• A person of Indian origin who moved to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania to establish themselves permanently.
• Candidates must state whether they are representatives of any of the minority groups that the government has recognised, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians.

FCI Manager Educational Qualification
