GCET Notification 2023: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa, administers the Goa Common Entrance Test or GCET 2023, a state-level entrance exam for various professional degree programmes. Admission will be granted based on the results of the entrance exam. Candidates can enrol in Goa’s state government/aided engineering colleges. The GCET 2023 application form will be released on March 23, 2023. The last date for online registration is April 23, 2023.
The GCET 2023 will be conducted from May 13 to 14, 2023. The authorities have released the GCET Results, and candidates can download them from the official website. Candidates willing to get admission in the undergraduate degree courses of Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Architecture, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda and other Allied Health Sciences must clear this exam. Age Limit
Applicants of any age can apply for GCET 2023 for the Pharmacy and Engineering programs. However, for the other courses, candidates will have to complete 17 years of age before December 31 of the academic year of admission.

Applicants should be of Indian nationality. Applicants who belong to the NRI category will be considered for admission under the NRI seats (Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) applicants will also be eligible for this category).

GCET 2023 will be a pen and paper-based examination. The exam comprises three sections and will consist of MCQs. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Below is the detailed exam pattern for GCET 2023:

Candidates must be aware of the following points while downloading their hall ticket.
The authorities of DTE Goa will release the GCET official answer key after the GCET exam 2023. Every correct answer to the questions asked in GCET 2023 will be made available in the answer key. With the help of the answer key, candidates will predict their scores before the announcement of the results. The answer key is released to provide transparency to the marking system of the exam body.
GCET result will be announced online by DTE, Goa. The GCET result 2023 will be released tentatively in June 2023 on the official website of DTE, Goa. Candidates can check the subject-wise scores secured by them alongside their registration number. The scorecard will be released in PDF format. Candidates can press the Control+F key to check their roll number on the scorecard.
The first round of GCET counselling will begin tentatively in July 2023, soon after the officials announce the results. To register for the counselling process, candidates need to submit the counselling form online on the DTE website. They will then be provided with an acknowledgement card. The counselling will comprise three rounds, and the allotment will be done based on the candidate’s score, preferences, and availability of seats. The authorities will do the verification of documents at the time of counselling.
