December 3, 2024GFTIs in India – There are 20 Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) in India. The institutes are funded by the Government of India. Candidates need to qualify JEE Main to get admission in the Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). The admission is done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. JEE Main rank is determined on the basis of scores of JEE Main plus the class 12th marks in the ratio (60:40).
All the GFTIs in India have to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority – JoSAA process conducted for the candidates qualifying JEE Main Exam. The All India Rank will determine the selection of the aspirants for the B.Tech programs.
