GMAT is taken to get admission into a graduate management program like MBA and Masters in Finance-related courses in top business schools across the world. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 45 minutes excluding the analytical writing section.
The GMAT exam pattern comprises 4 sections – Verbal reasoning, Quantitative reasoning, Integrated reasoning, and Analytical Writing (optional) offering MCQs. We advise candidates who are preparing for the GMAT exam to practice the GMAT question paper 2022. Additionally, we also suggest checking the exam pattern and syllabus for the exam. The exam pattern gives an idea about the actual exam and the syllabus including the topic from which the questions are asked. Therefore, candidates need to keep the exam pattern and syllabus in their minds and prepare for the exam accordingly. GMAT is a computer-based online exam and the exam has a total of four sections which are Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA), Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning. Candidates have to answer a total of 80 questions in a total of 187 minutes.
The Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) section consists of one essay and the questions are asked from the same essay only. The second section which is the Integrated Reasoning (IR) section consists of graphical and data analysis questions and only objective-type questions.
