While studying, students should take care of the following points to make their self-study more comprehensive and impactful. It will also help them do preparation a few days before the exam. The Gujarat Board Class 9 preparation tips are as follows:

  1. Make a Practical Study Plan: Students must go through the syllabus, exam pattern and marking scheme to get an insight into the exam. After reviewing the syllabus, they should collect all the Gujarat Board Class 9 study material. Then they must make a study plan to complete the syllabus on time.
  2. Solve Sample Papers: Students will better understand the subject by solving more sample papers. It will also assist in keeping track of the time spent and the correctness of the questions.
  3. Time Management: Students must create a timetable and allocate adequate time to each topic. Students will benefit from proper time management as they can finish their exam papers on time and eliminate last-minute worry and tension.
  4. Develop a Habit of Writing Answers: Even though you know the answers in your mind, you must always write them down. While you’re practising, solve the question multiple times. When it comes to Science and Mathematics problems, having good writing skills helps. This technique will make Maths simple for you.
  5. Prioritise Topics and Concepts: Students must make a list of all the key ideas and formulas in each subject for easy recall and review. Students will find it easier to do last-minute revisions.
  6. Focus on Board Textbooks: You should not overlook the GSEB textbook. It contains the most recent and relevant solved examples. These questions might appear for final exams also. So students must complete studying their notes and also focus on textbook questions.

Gujarat Board Class 9 Detailed Study Plan

A study plan helps students in prioritising their time and using it in the best possible manner. It allows students to allocate sufficient time to cover each subject. Here is a detailed study plan for students who want to score well in their exams.

  1. Make good use of your study time. Make a study schedule and stick to it throughout your studies. Use time management techniques like the intense study session (goal setting, studying with a focus, rewarding yourself, reviewing your progress) and 3P approach (i.e., plan, prepare, practice) to cover more Gujarat Board Class 9 topics or syllabus in less time.
  2. Shuffle between subjects and your study approach. If at all practical, shuffle between the subjects you study. For example, one hour of Science followed by one hour of Maths. Also, switch between different study techniques like the PARROT method for textbook reading, concept mapping, note cards, practice problems, and so on (do not study a subject in the same way for too long).
  3. Check your notes for completeness, consistency, and correctness regularly. Use short notes, concept maps (visual representations of information), and other organising tools to take systematic notes. Schedule many review sessions (short and frequent are better than one long session).
  4. Make logical connections to the subject to establish genuine connections with the content and relate it to something you already know about or are interested in.

Gujarat Board Class 9 Exam Day Guideline

Students can check the pointers below to know the exam day guidelines:

  1. First, go over the entire test. Take a deep breath, relax, and forget about the individuals in your immediate vicinity. Make sure you read the instructions thoroughly. Determine the different sorts of questions, how many points each one carries, and whether you have a choice of questions to respond to, among other things. Set aside time for each type of question, with extra time for checking. Answer the easy questions first, then attempt the more difficult ones.
  2. When you’re stuck, don’t become frustrated. Reread the question to ensure you understand it completely. Don’t be afraid to skip a question by marking it with a circle and returning to it later. If everything else fails and you have no choice but to guess, go with the answer that makes the most sense.
  3. Following the examination. Consider how things went. What went well? What might have been better? Examine the errors you made after getting the question paper (didn’t understand the material, specific types of questions, stupid mistakes). Attempt to try something different the next time and learn from your mistakes.
