Students should try to complete the GSEB 12th syllabus at least three months before the exam. They will have plenty of time to practise and revise as a result.
Gujarat Board Class 12 Detailed Study Plan
A plan is always helpful in achieving whatever we want in life. Having a concrete study plan keeps learning easy and stress-free. If students have a clear idea about how and what they need to study, they can learn the topics more efficiently. Below given are the subject-wise pointers.
Mathematics: Mathematics is a scoring subject. Students need to understand all topics with in-depth understanding and should be able to apply the formulas correctly. For the Class 12th Maths board exam, rigorous practice is required to answer the questions step-wise.
Focus on understanding each topic properly.
For each chapter, make topic-wise separate notes. Write all the formulas mentioned in it with one illustration for each. This will help you know when to apply the formula.
Students should practice as many sample questions as possible for each chapter. It will enable them to solve questions of different difficulty levels easily
Take chapter-wise mock tests to develop time management skills so that you can spare time to review your answers.
You can rote learn some formulas, but practicing problems based on them will help you solve questions accurately.
Focus on your NCERT textbooks and solve all the intext questions.
Make a list of all your mistakes and solve enough questions to reduce them in the final paper.
Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology: To score good marks in the Gujarat Board Class 12 Science, students must understand the concepts in-depth. Focus on all three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
In Science, create notes for each chapter and write all definitions, scientists’ names, S.I unit of measurement etc. and read them daily.
CBSE asks questions mostly from the NCERT books, so study them carefully.
Give equal importance to diagrams. Draw diagrams in all relevant questions.
Learn the correct spellings and practice labelling for diagrams.
Make a table for elements and write their features, characteristics, in which metal they are found, and other such components and revise them regularly.
Write concise answers and solve practice tests to complete the paper in time.
History/Geography/Political Science: Social science subjects are interesting as you learn about different civilisations, cultures, our history, the world, how democracy works and many such important topics. Here is a detailed plan to make the preparation easy for this subject:
Know the weightage for each unit and plan your studies accordingly. Also, complete the easy chapters first. Then give ample time to complex topics.
Again, note-making is important to highlight essential points. This makes revision and retention easy.
Create a chart of important dates, events, characters involved, geographically important locations, resources etc., and read them daily at least once.
For geography, practice maps daily and learn all critical information associated with a site.
It is better to understand the fundamental concepts instead of memorising them in economics and political science.
