MET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Manipal University offers various UG and PG courses for candidates appearing for MET 2023. Candidates willing to appear for the exam must go through the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.

Candidates can go through the below-mentioned eligibility criteria to know the eligibility requirements for MET 2023:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have cleared 10+2 exams in Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects from a Recognised Board. Candidates also have taken any one of the following optional subjects, i.e. Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology or any technical vocational subjects.

Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the exam.

Nationality: Only Indian candidates are eligible to apply for MET 2023.

Minimum qualifying marks: Candidates must have secured 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and any one of the optional subjects in class 12 or A level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent.

Note: Technical vocational subjects must be related to the Chemical/Civil/Electrical/Mechanical stream.

MET 2023: Application Form

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form on the official website. The application process will consist of different steps, i.e. Registration, Filling In Personal Details, Course Selection, Payment of Application Fee, Uploading Documents, and Final Submission of the application form 2023. Candidates must carefully fill out the application form if any false information has been included the candidate’s application will be rejected.

Application Fee – The application fee for the General category MET 2023 is ₹2000 (Application Fee of ₹600 and Entrance Fee of ₹1400).

On successful registration, Login ID and Password will be sent to the registered email and mobile number. Upon successful login, select a category and fill in the below-mentioned personal details –

Click on the “Continue to Payment” button.

• Step 5: Fee Payment: Candidates are required to pay the MET 2023 Application Fee through Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking/Cash Card/Mobile Payments/Paytm/Wallet/ Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
• Step 6: Upload Documents: Candidates will have to upload the scanned documents in the MET application form. Every document must be in PDF format.
• Step 7: Application Status: Once candidates submit their MET 2023 application form the status will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are required to download and take a print of the application for future references.

MET 2023: Slot Booking

MET 2023 slot booking is a process where candidates are given a chance to select their exam centre, exam date and time through Online Test Booking System (OTBS) platform. In order to select their desired preferences, candidates must log in to the OTBS platform using their registered ID and password.

Once candidates successfully complete the slot booking process, they can check their allotted exam centre, date and time by downloading the MET admit card. If any candidate fails to complete the slot booking process, he/she will be allotted an exam centre by the exam authorities based on seat availability.

• 1st Step: Log in to the website by using the application number, password, and security code.

MAHE will release the MET 2023 results, on the official website. Candidates can download the result by visiting results.manipal.edu and entering their login credentials. The MET result will contain the marks secured by candidates in the exam in the form of a scorecard. The institute will release a merit list based on the scores obtained by the candidates. MET 2023 Cut-off
