IB Security Assistant Selection Process 2023: Tier 1

Tier 1 is the first stage of the selection process. It is conducted online. The exam contains 100 objective-type questions. Furthermore, the Tier 1 question paper contains five sections. Candidates can check the detailed pattern for IB Security Assistant Tier 1 Exam below:

• The overall duration of the exam is one hour.
• Candidates get one mark for each correct answer.
• There is a negative marking, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The Tier 2 exam consists of two parts. One is a descriptive-type test and another is spoken ability. Furthermore, the officials conduct the descriptive-type test in offline mode. Aspirants can check the Tier 2 exam pattern from mha.gov.in, or directly from the below table:

• In the descriptive exam, candidates have to translate a passage of 500 words from the local language/ dialect to English and vice versa.
• The officials will assess the spoken ability at the time of the interview or personality test.
• Tier 2 is qualifying in nature.
• The qualifying marks for Tier 2 are 20 marks out of 50 marks.
• Candidates will get 1 hour to complete the Tier 2 test.

IB Security Assistant Selection Process 2023: Tier 3

Tier 3 of the IB Security Assistant selection process is an interview or personality test. The officials conduct a Tier 3 exam for 50 marks. Furthermore, the marks of the Tier 3 exam will be considered for making the final selection list.
