Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has declared that their clerical cadre recruitment results are announced in two stages.

• Prelims Exam
• Mains Exam

Candidates who fill out the application form and meet the set eligibility criteria are qualified to appear for the Prelims examination. Those who obtain the minimum cut off marks or above in the Prelims exam will be eligible to sit for the Mains exam. Only the marks secured in the Mains exam are considered for preparing the final merit list. After the final round, the shortlisted candidates will receive the appointment letter.

IBPS Result Normalisation

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts its clerical cadre recruitment examination in various shifts. The question papers are different for different sessions. So, to have validation, the scores secured by the candidates in each shift are normalised. The candidates’ scores are determined based on the normalisation process. 

The normalisation of the marks shall be carried out using the equity-percentile process. The percentile rank of the candidates in each shift is calculated. Scores of up to two decimal points shall be provided for normalisation purposes. After normalisation, the final scores are rounded to two decimal digits. The cut-off percentile is then decided based on the vacancies.

IBPS Provisional Allotment

The conducting authority released the IBPS Clerk Reserve List 2024 on its official website. Candidates will have to clear the Mains cut-off to be eligible for provisional allotment.

Depending on the number of the (State/UT wise) vacancies available and merit cum preference, the cut-offs will be decided, and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment.

The marks scored in the Mains exam will be normalised to 100, and the final merit list will be prepared.
