This section can prove scoring for a candidate if there is a mastery over basic mathematics and time management. Topics from this section can be mastered with practice. English comes across as easy to a lot of students. However in recent times, this is increasingly becoming the most complex section. In the Prelims this year, English was the most challenging section (for all shifts on all days). A high level of efficiency is expected from aspirants now. To master this section, here’s what you need to do –
Read daily: Reading will help you increase both speed as well as vocabulary.
Write daily: Inculcate a habit of writing a piece daily that too in your own words.
Dictionary: Consult a dictionary whenever you read so as to increase your vocabulary.
Practice: Solve questions across topics especially RC passages and evaluate yourself.

The reasoning paper proves to be the backbone of the PO exam. This section can be the most scoring. Therefore, needs special attention. To score heavily in this section, the candidates need to focus more on the analytical part of the Reasoning rather than going hard by simulating the shortcuts. This section of the exam is extremely scoring because it is all fact based. Do remember that IBPS expects you to have a good knowledge of the banking sector. Hence this section deals with general awareness but with a special inclination towards the banking sector.
