April 2, 2024IISER Aptitude Eligibility 2023: The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research prescribes the IISER Aptitude eligibility criteria 2023 in the official brochure on its website. Candidates willing to appear for the exam must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The IISER 2023 application form is expected to be released online by the fourth week of May 2023.
The IISER admission will be done on the basis of three channels: JEE Advanced, KVPY and SCB channel. Candidates must note that the eligibility criteria for KVPY, SCB and JEE (Advanced) channels differ from one another. Scroll down to know more about the IISER Aptitude eligibility 2023.

Candidates willing to appear for the IISER test must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. It is mandatory for candidates to meet eligibility criteria under any one of the channels for admissions. IISER admissions are open to all candidates who are Indian nationals and belong to the Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) category.
Candidates with a valid KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) fellowship commencing from 2022-23 academic session are eligible to apply for the IISER. These candidates, however, are not required to take the IISER entrance exam 2023.
Candidates must qualify for the JEE Advanced exam and secure a rank within 10,000 in Common Rank List (CRL).

All candidates who have cleared Class 12 exams in the Science stream in 2021/ 2023 are eligible. However, candidates should also score marks equal to or above the cut off as stipulated by IISER in order to meet the IISER eligibility criteria.

For candidates belonging to OBC (non-creamy layer) and PwD categories, there is a 5% relaxation in the cutoff percentage. The cut off for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Kashmiri Migrants (KM) category is 55% in Class 12 for all boards.
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research will release the IISER application form on the official website. The application process includes registration, filling application form, uploading documents and payment of fee.
Registration
Candidates need to register themselves at IISER admission portal. They need to sign up using their basic details like mobile number, email ID, password, date of birth, category and other details. A verification email will be issued to candidates’ registered email IDs after signup. Candidates can access their accounts and continue to the next step of the application process after successful verification.
Filling of Application Form
Candiadtes have to fill in their communication details, educational qualification and other information in the IISER application form. Candidates must make sure they fill in all details carefully to avoid disqualification.
