IMU CET Counselling 2023: Check Steps and Dates

Indian Maritime University conducts the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) to select candidates for admission to Undergraduate (excluding BBA), Postgraduate, and Research programmes. IMU will prepare a merit list of the candidates based on IMU CET results. These candidates must complete the counselling form by visiting the IMU CET 2022 official website. Steps to Apply for IMU CET Counselling

Candidates must know the counselling process well in advance to avoid unnecessary rush at the last minute. The following are the steps to apply for IMU CET counselling:

1. Registration

Visit the IMU CET 2023 official website and select the link for counselling registration. Pay the counselling charge of Rs. 10,000 online using net banking, a credit or debit card.

2. Choice Filling

Select the preferred programme and campus after registration. To get the desired college, candidates must make selections in the preferred order and select as many campuses and programmes as possible to improve their chances of getting a seat.

3. Seat Allotment

Candidates will get seats on the participating campuses according to merit, preferences, and availability. Candidates with their names listed on the website following seat allocation must pay the programme fee of Rs. 25,000 to secure their seats which is non-refundable.

4. Document Verification

Then candidates must download the provisional allotment letters and report to the institutes according to the seat allocation. The authorities will check all the necessary paperwork to confirm the admission.

• Birth Certificate/ 10th Standard/ SSC or equivalent Mark Sheet
• 12th or equivalent Mark Sheet
• Community Certificate (Only for SC, ST, OBC-NCL/ GEN-EWS) (Date of issue of the OBC-NCL/ Gen-EWS certificate should be on or after August 1, 2022.)
• Copy of IMU CET’s Rank Certificate
• Two Passport Size Photographs
• Aadhaar Card
• NCC Certificate (only if applicable)
• UG Mark-Sheets (only if applicable)
• Applicable Medical Fitness Certificates (For B.Tech/ B.Sc./ DNS – Fitness Certificate from DGS approved Doctor only is acceptable.)
