ISC Syllabus for Class 11 Physics
The syllabus of ISC Physics for Class 11 has been structured in a way that contributes toward strengthening the foundation for the 12th Board and for different entrance examinations after the 12th Board. There are 2 papers in Physics – a. Theory paper b. Practical and project as mentioned below:
Paper I (Theory)– This will be a theory paper of 70 marks and 3 hours of time duration.
PAPER I- THEORY: 70 Marks
It is mandatory for the candidates to answer all the questions in the question paper. Students will be provided with two questions of 2 marks each, two questions of 3 marks each, and all the three questions of 5 marks each.
Paper-II – This will consist of 30 marks. The subdivision is mentioned below:
Practical – 15 marks (3 hours)
Project Work – 10 marks
Practical File – 5 marks
PRACTICAL WORK- 15 Marks
Students need to complete all the experiments from the given list:
(i) To measure the diameter of a spherical body using Vernier Calipers. Calculate its volume with appropriate significant figures. Also, measure its volume using a graduated cylinder and compare the two. (ii) Find the diameter of a wire using a micrometre screw gauge and determine the percentage error in the cross-sectional area. (iii) Determine the radius of curvature of a spherical surface like watch glass by a spherometer. (iv) Equilibrium of three concurrent coplanar forces. To verify the parallelogram law of forces and to determine the weight of a body. (v) Inclined Plane, Friction (vi) To find the acceleration due to gravity by measuring the variation in the time period (T) with the effective length (L) of a simple pendulum.
The syllabus of ISC Chemistry for Class 11 has been structured in a way that contributes towards strengthening the foundation for 12th Board and for different entrance examinations after 12th Board. There are 2 papers in Chemistry – a. Theory paper b. Practical and project
Paper-I (Theory)– This will be a theory paper of 70 marks and 3 hours of time duration.

The syllabus of ISC Maths for Class 11 has been structured in a way that contributes towards strengthening the foundation for 12th Board and for different entrance examinations after 12th Board. There are 2 papers in Maths – a. Theory paper b. Practical and project
Paper I (Theory)– This will be a theory paper of 80 marks and 3 hours of time duration.
PAPER I (THEORY) – 80 Marks
(i) The syllabus is divided into three sections A, B and C. (ii) Section A is compulsory for all candidates. Candidates will have a choice of attempting questions from EITHER Section B OR Section C. (iii) There will be one paper of three hours duration of 80 marks. (iv) Section A (65 Marks): Candidates will be required to attempt all questions. The internal choice will be provided in two questions of two marks, two questions of four marks and two questions of six marks each. (v) Section B/ Section C (15 Marks): Candidates will be required to attempt all questions EITHER from Section B or Section C. Internal choice will be provided in one question of two marks and one question of four marks.

ISC Syllabus for Class 11 Computer Science
There are 2 papers in Computer Science –
a. Theory paper and b. Practical and project as mentioned below:
Paper I (Theory) – This will be a theory paper of 70 marks and 3 hours of time duration.
PAPER I- THEORY: 70 Marks
(i) Paper I shall be of 3 hours duration and be divided into two parts. (ii) Part I (20 marks): This part will consist of compulsory short answer questions, testing knowledge, application and skills relating to the entire syllabus. (iii) Part II (50 marks): This part will be divided into three sections, A, B and C. Candidates will be required to answer two questions out of three from Section A (each carrying 10 marks) and two questions out of three from Section B (each carrying 10 marks) and two questions out of three from Section C (each carrying 5 marks). Therefore, a total of six questions are to be answered in Part II.
PAPER-II: PRACTICAL – 30 MARKS
This paper of three hours duration will be evaluated internally by the school. The paper shall consist of three programming problems from which a candidate has to attempt any one.
The practical consists of two parts: (1) Planning Session (2) Examination Session.
The total time to be spent on the Planning session and the Examination session is three hours. A maximum of 90 minutes is permitted for the Planning session and 90 minutes for the Examination session.
