ISRO Exam Pattern: Personal Interview

After the Written Test is completed, the ISRO Results will be announced. Candidates who meet the cutoff specified by the officials of ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board will be selected to appear for the next round – the Personal Interview. The officials will notify the candidates about the details regarding the personal interview, and they will have to attend their Personal Interview at the venue as specified by the officials.

In the Personal Interview round, the officials will ask questions and examine the candidates, whether they are fit to carry out the duties of Scientist/Engineer at ISRO. Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks in the Personal Interview round. Later the officials will announce the shortlisted candidates in the Personal Interview. These candidates who are shortlisted in the Personal Interview round will be appointed as Scientists/Engineers in the prestigious Indian Space Research Organization.

Some of the instructions that candidates must follow for the Personal Interview round of ISRO Recruitment are as under:

  1. Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and from second-class train fare by the shortest route from the city indicated in the online application form to the place of interview (change of address and city for the purpose will not be entertained).
  2. Candidates called for an interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application submitted online, at the time of interview.
  3. If any information that is furnished online is found to be wrong or false, the candidate will not be interviewed and TA will not be paid.
  4. No TA will be paid for attending the Written Test.
