ISRO Recruitment 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key on April 2025 (tentative). ISRO conducted the exam for Administrative Officer, Accounts Officer, and Purchase & Stores Officer posts on April 2025 (tentative). Candidates could check the answer key online from the official website, i.e., isro.gov.in. Furthermore, they need to enter the roll number and date of birth to check the answer key.

ISRO SAC Recruitment 2025

ISRO conducts exams for various posts under the Space Application Centre (SAC) every year. This year the official notification regarding the vacancies at SAC has not yet been released. Educational Qualification

  1. Scientist/ Engineer
    1. BE/ BTech Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Electrical/ Instrumentation & Control/ Information & Communication Technology (ICT)/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil Engineering passed with First Class marks (aggregate marks of 65% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a ten scale).
    2. M.E./M.Tech. in respective subjects with minimum aggregate marks of 60% or CGPA/ CPI grading of 6.5 on a ten scale. (OR)
  2. Technical Assistant
    1. Diploma in Electronics / Electronics and Communication/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical Engineering in First class from a recognised institute/ Board/ University.
  3. Technician
    1. Matric (SSC / SSLC / 10th Class) +ITI/ NTC/ NAC in respective trade (Fitter, Mechanist, Mechanic, Information & Technology, Carpenter, Plumber, Draughtsman, Lab Assistant).
  4. Hindi Typist
    1. Graduate in Art/ Commerce/ Management/ Computer Application courses.

How to Apply for ISRO Scientist Engineer Recruitment?

The ISRO applications for various posts will be available on the official website. Candidates must fill out and apply through online mode. The steps to apply online for ISRO Recruitment are given below.

  1. Visit the official website of ISRO – isro.gov.in.
  2. Scroll down and click on “Career” on the bottom left side of the page.
  3. Click on “Centralised Recruitment (ICRB), All locations.”
  4. Now click on recruitment links available for various posts and departments.
  5. Next, click on “Click here to apply.”
  6. Click on the link for the post you want to apply for.
  7. Register for the exam by entering your ‘Personal’ or ‘Contact’ details.
  8. You will receive your ‘Registration ID’ and ‘Password’ on the given email ID and mobile number. Now use the Registration ID and Password to log in.
  9. Fill out the application form with your ‘Personal‘, ‘Educational‘ and ‘Residential‘ and ‘Other Information‘.
  10.  Upload your scanned ‘Photograph’ and ‘Signature’ as per the prescribed formats & sizes.
  11.  Now proceed to pay the application fees. Complete the transaction and save the fee receipt.
  12. Take a printout of the filled application form for future reference.

ISRO Application Fees

Candidates can pay ISRO application fees both in the online and offline mode. In online mode, applicants can pay using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking. In the case of paying offline, applicants can visit their nearest SBI branch and deposit the money.

Based on the posts and the recruitment notice, the officials decide the application fee. As per the recent ISRO SAC recruitment notification, there is no application fee for candidates to apply online for various posts.

ISRO Scientist Engineer Recruitment Admit Card

ISRO will issue the admit card to all eligible candidates on the official website, or an intimation will be sent to the candidate’s Email ID. The admit cards or call letters are released separately for the written test and interview/ skill test. Candidates will have to login into their accounts to view and download the admit card. Candidates must compulsorily carry the ISRO Admit Card on the day of examination.

The ISRO selection process can vary depending on the post applied. In general, the selection process consists of two stages –

Key Points:

  • The written test will be conducted for a maximum time duration of 90 minutes.
  • Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks.
  • For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted.
  • The question paper will be available in the English language only.

ISRO Interview 2025

A written test is not the only parameter for the selection of candidates. The candidates’ performance in the Personal Interview round is also considered. As per the order of merit, 60% marks in the interview would be considered for the final selection of the candidates. The skill test will be conducted for Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts instead of an Interview. However, in some cases, the criteria can be changed by ISRO and will be notified to the candidates on the official recruitment notice or official website.
