ITI Courses 2022: The Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, established the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) to provide admission in various ITI courses. What Are ITI Courses?
ITI courses are the courses that are meant for training a student in the technical and non-technical fields. The ITI admission provides earning opportunities right after class 10th or 12th. These courses are vocational training courses that exclusively impart essential skills for getting a job after class 10th or 12th. The Industrial Training Institutes provide vocational training courses to students so that they are able to secure a job when the course ends.
The objective of these courses is to help the students to start a small-scale business along with helping them to get jobs in the Private and Government sectors. Age Limit
Candidates who fall between the age range 14-40 on the date of the start of the admission session are eligible for admission.
There is an age relaxation of five years for ex-servicemen and war widows.

The authority offers training in a range of courses under the aegis of National Vocational Training. There are two programs designed to provide vocational training – Craftsman Training Scheme and Apprenticeship Training Scheme. ITI Courses 2022: ITI Certification and Assessment
The authority will analyse the skills of the candidates with various assessments and tests. Find below the assessments and tests that candidates will need to give during the course:
The students will be tested by the Formative Assessment Method testing for assessment criteria listed against learning conclusions. The National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) conducts the All India Trade Test (AITT). The candidates will be required to take this test upon the completion of the course.
The question papers for the final assessment will be set based on the assessment criteria and its result.
The marks for internal assessment will be according to the template prescribed by the institute.
The institutes need to maintain an individual trainee portfolio as detailed in the assessment guideline.
The final assessment will be assessed via the Summative Assessment Method.
The students are required to obtain a minimum of 60% in practicals and 40% in theory.
