Here are the important instructions that all applicants must follow while submitting their JEE Main 2022 online application fee:
As discussed above, NTA will not open any JEE Main application correction window this year. Therefore, all applicants must fill out their JEE April session application form cautiously because they will not be allowed to modify it later. If the NTA decides to introduce the application correction window in April or May, we will inform aspirants about the same here.
Some candidates may be confused about the exam mode of the JEE Main. Therefore, we have explained how the exam will be conducted in the later section:
To take up CBT, candidates must sit in front of a computer terminal (node) allocated to them against their roll number and admit card. After logging in, candidates will get detailed instructions on how to go about the exam. At the appointed time of the examination, the candidates will be able to proceed and see the questions on the computer screen. During the examination, candidates can change or modify or edit answers they have already entered.
Attempt JEE Main Exam Mock Tests
The NTA has introduced the new Drawing Test (Part-III) as part of B.Arch (Paper 2A). This part of the paper is in pen and paper (offline) mode and is to be attempted on an A4 size drawing sheet paper.
The objective of TPCs is primarily to schedule test practice for the upcoming NTA JEE examination. The Ministry of Education has made it mandatory for NTA to establish and create a network of Test Practice Centres (TPCs). This is especially to encourage candidates from remote and rural areas to be familiar with the online mode of test. This is a of cost facility. This facility is implemented to acquaint the candidates with a real-time experience of taking a computer-based test. NTA registered candidates can find a nearby TPC to practice a test on the CBT.
For the past few years, NTA has been conducting the JEE Main exam four times a year; however, as per the official bulletin, JEE Main will only be held twice this year — first in April and then in May. That means aspirants will only have two opportunities to crack the test.
As per the report, the decision to conduct JEE Main four times a year was because of the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the country, and since there has been a reduction in the cases, only two attempts shall be sufficient for aspirants to crack the test.

Points to remember while choosing exam centre for JEE Main 2022
JEE Main is the largest and most popular engineering entrance exam taken by engineering aspirants in India. Every year lakhs of candidates apply for this national level entrance exam. In 2021, 10 lakh applicants registered for the examination. Despite this, the National Testing Agency (NTA) ensures that enough testing centres are available for all the applicants appearing for the JEE Main examination.
Choosing the exam centre is crucial for a candidate. While choosing, candidates need to look at the nearby and easily accessible test centres. Candidates can select any four cities as per their preference; they will have to ensure that the selected cities are in the state they are currently residing in or in the state of their permanent residence. Once they choose the right JEE test centres, it is also important that they note the city and centre codes of the test centre for future reference or verification.
Attempt JEE Main Exam Mock Tests
Though a national level examination, JEE Main is also taken by candidates abroad. One of the main reasons for this could be that the JEE Main examination serves as a first step and gateway to get into IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), the institutes of national importance and international repute. We have added a complete list of JEE Main exam centres for 2022 sessions and those outside India. Check out the article below for more:

JEE Main cut-off is the minimum marks a candidate needs to score to get admission into engineering colleges or institutes accepting JEE Main scores. Only candidates who meet the cut-off scores will be considered eligible for admission. NTA will release two cut-offs: (i) admission cut-off and (ii) qualifying cutoff. Admission cut-off, released by the NTA, is the opening and closing ranks for admission into participating institutes. In contrast, a qualifying cut-off is a cut-off released by JoSAA at the counselling process.
