The second shift of JEE Main February 1 is over. Direct questions were asked from NCERT books in Inorganic Chemistry. Most of the questions in the Physics section were formula based. Questions asked in the Mathematics section were calculative, time-consuming and lengthy. The question paper was easier compared to the question paper of JEE Main 2022. Some students faced technical issues but were given more time to solve the question paper in the end.
The questions in the Mathematics section were lengthy and calculative. The questions were not very difficult and could be solved easily if the candidates were given a little more time to solve the paper. There were questions on Vector 3D, coordinate and mathematical reasoning.
The difficulty level of the Physics section was moderate. The difficulty level of the question paper was similar to last year’s. There were questions on semiconductors, modern physics, current electricity, magnetic field, mechanics, friction, etc.
The chemistry section of this shift of JEE Main 2023 was the easiest to solve. There were direct (line-by-line) questions from NCERT books in inorganic chemistry. There were questions from environmental chemistry, reaction mechanism, etc.
Candidates who have to appear for JEE Main exam this year must read students’ responses because it enables them to understand the type of questions that can be asked in their shifts. The JEE Main 2023 Feb 1 Shift 2 is over. We are providing the feedback given by the students who took the exam in this session.
