January 25, 2023: Shift 1 (12:40 p.m.) – According to the candidates who appeared for the exam, the difficulty level of the JEE Main 2023 question paper was easier than JEE Main 2022. Questions asked in the mathematics section were lengthy, whereas the questions in the physics section were mainly formula-based, and a lesser number of questions were asked from NCERT books in Chemistry this year.
January 25, 2023: Shift 1 (12:00 p.m.) – The JEE Main 2023 January 25 Session 1 Shift 1 has concluded.

JEE Main 2023 January 25 Shift 1 Analysis Mathematics

JEE Main 2023 Jan 25 Shift 1 mathematics section was easier when compared to the previous year question paper. There were more questions on vector 3D and integration, as usual. As per the students, the questions were a bit lengthy but easy to solve. A good number of questions were asked from class 11th mathematics.

JEE Main 2023 January 25 Shift 1 Analysis Physics

Questions in the Physics section of JEE Main 2023 Jan 25 session 1 were also easier this year. There were questions on Gravitational force and Electricity. There were many questions from modern physics. The level of questions was moderate, and many questions asked were formula-based.

The first 20 questions in the Chemistry section of JEE Main 2023 session 1 Jan 25 were based on Organic Chemistry, and in the last 10, most questions were asked from inorganic chemistry. Lesser number of questions were asked from NCERT books this year.

  • Swapnil: According to him, the Maths section was lengthy, not tough, though. He said the question paper was easier than last year’s and the Physics and Chemistry sections were easier. A lot of questions were asked from the Class 12th syllabus. Many questions were based on vector 3D this year.
  • Mukul: As per his review, questions in the Mathematics section were lengthy and calculative. There were a lot of formula-based questions Physics section. Chemistry was the easiest. More questions from physical and organic chemistry. The question paper was easier than last year’s JEE Main question paper.
  • Rahul: According to Rahul, the questions asked were easier. The Chemistry section was the easiest, and the Mathematics questions were calculative. There were a lot of questions from organic chemistry this year, and very few questions were asked from NCERT books.
