JEE Main 2022 June 23, Shift 2 Analysis, Students’ Reaction
Bengaluru, June 23, 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA) and JEE Apex Board (JAB) have conducted the JEE Main 2022 Shift 2 exam on June 23, 2022, in the afternoon shift, i.e., from 3 PM to 6 PM. Over one lakh students appeared for the second shift of JEE Main 2022. NTA conducted the JEE Main 2022 Paper 2B for the B.Plan course, whereas Paper 2A was conducted for the B.Arch course. JEE Main 2022 June 23, Shift 2 Analysis

The Mathematical section of JEE Main for Paper 2B (i.e., for B.Plan) included a total of 30 questions, out of which 20 were multiple-choice questions, while the remaining 10 were numerical-value questions. Out of 10 questions, students were only supposed to answer 5.
Since the NTA has introduced negative marking to both sections of the question papers, students showed extra caution while marking their answers. The numerical questions also required extra attention because of the negative marking for each incorrect answer.
JEE Main Part 2B Mathematics
The overall difficulty of the mathematics segment of JEE Main 2022 B.Plan exam was moderate. The total question asked in the question paper were 30, out of which 20 questions were MCQs and the rest 10 were numerical value questions. Questions were also asked from Calculus, but the Vector and 3-D geometry section had more weightage in the exam.

This section has been reviewed by experts as easy to moderate in the difficulty level. Questions were asked around 3D shapes viewed from different angles.
JEE Main Part 2BPlanning
The planning section of JEE Main June 23, 2022, question paper has been reviewed as easy.
Each question in the question paper carried 4+ marks, whereas every incorrect answer resulted in a deduction of -1 marks, in both MCQs and Numerical Value Questions.
Difference Between Paper 2A and Paper 2B
JEE Main 2022 Paper 2A includes questions from Mathematics (Part 1), Aptitude (Part 2), and Drawing Test (Part 3), whereas the Paper 2B—in addition to having the first two aforementioned papers—replaces the third one with the Planning (Part 3) segment. All the papers have been conducted online, except for the Drawing Test which was organised on a drawing sheet of A4 size.

As per the JEE Main 2022 students’ feedback, the JEE Main 2022 shift 2 exam was easy to moderate. Some students’ reactions also suggested that they found JEE Main 2022 question paper to be moderate in difficulty level.
