JEE Main 2022 June 25, Shift 1 Paper Analysis & Students’ Reaction
BENGALURU, JUNE 25: NTA-JAB has successfully conducted the JEE Main 2022 exam B.Tech in shift 1 on June 25, 2022. The JEE Main 2022 started on June 23, and today is the third day of the exam. The shift 1 exam has been concluded, and we present the question paper analysis and students’ reactions regarding the difficulty level. Every day the JEE Main will be conducted in 2 shifts, i.e. shift 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and shift 2 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Today more than one lakh candidates appeared for JEE Main 2022 shift 1 at various exam centres.

JEE Main 2022 June 25, Paper 1: Subject-wise Analysis

The JEE Main conducting body has introduced negative marking to both sections of the question paper, i.e. sections A and B. So, students have to carefully attempt the MCQs and numerical value questions.
The overall exam duration of JEE Main June 25, Shift 1 was 3 hours. However, PwD candidates were provided with an extra hour to complete the examination.
JEE Main Part 1 Mathematics (B.Tech)
The Mathematics section of JEE Main for Paper 1 on June 25 included 30 questions. Out of which, 20 questions were multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and 10 were numeral value questions. The difficulty level of the Mathematics section was moderate.
JEE Main Part 1 Physics (B.Tech)
On June 25, the questions in the JEE Main Physics section were framed well and based on the NCERT syllabus of classes 11 and 12. This section has been reviewed to be moderate in difficulty level.
JEE Main Part 1 Chemistry (B.Tech)
Most of the questions from the chemistry section were similar to the previous year’s question paper. The questions were from Chemistry in Life, Sets, Units, Mole Concepts and other basic concepts. Based on the experts’ suggestions, feedback and students’ reaction, the overall difficulty of the Chemistry section was easy.
JEE Main 2022 June 25, Shift 1 (Session 1) — Students’ Reaction
Based on the student’s reaction, the JEE Main 2022 June 25 Shift 1 analysis is as follows.
Kavya: She explained that the Mathematics section was difficult but was too lengthy. It required more time to solve the problems. She also said that chemistry was easy and Physics was moderate.
Neeta: She was happy as the JEE Main paper was straightforward. Even though the Math paper was lengthy, she could solve it quickly. She further added that she found Physics and Chemistry papers to be easy.
Rahman: He found the Mathematics paper very difficult. It took him a long time to complete the Mathematics problems. Even the Physics papers were moderate, whereas chemistry was easy.
