JEE Main 2022 Paper 2: NTA has issued the official link to download the answer sheet for the June session. Candidates could challenge the answer key from July 2 to July 4, 2022 (till 11.50 PM). JEE Main Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria 2022
We advise candidates to go through the complete Paper 2 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Below we have provided candidates with the JEE Main eligibility requirements:
Age Limit
For JEE Main 2022 Paper 2, no age limit is specified by NTA.
Subjects
Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2022 Paper 2 should have Mathematics as a subject in their Class 12.
Marks
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Also, they must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in the 10+2 examination.
Years of Qualifying Exam/No. of Attempts Allowed in JEE Main
Must have cleared 10+2 in 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022. A candidate is allowed to attempt the JEE Main Paper 2 exam for 3 consecutive years.
JEE Main Paper 2 Application Form 2022
NTA is accepting online applications for JEE Main 2022 Session 2 on its official website. Interested candidates could register and fill out their online application form for JEE Main Paper 2 exam until June 30, 2022.
Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2023 are advised to go through the information bulletin to confirm the JEE Main Paper 2 exam eligibility criteria. They can also download the replica of the application form and fill it out beforehand to not make any mistakes while filling out the original JEE Main application form.

The different steps of the JEE Main Paper 2 application can be completed together or at separate timings. The application submission of the candidates will be considered successful only after the transaction of the prescribed application fee. Check the details of the main steps mentioned above to apply for JEE Main exam 2022 under the following sections:
JEE Main 2022 Registration Form
As the first step, the candidates must register for the online application form of JEE Main Paper 2 2022 on the official website. Candidates will have to fill in the required details while filling out the JEE Main online application form and later generate a password that will be used to log in for further processes.
After successfully submitting their personal details, the candidates will receive an application number that will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application process for JEE Main exam. It will also be required for all future reference/correspondence, so the candidates are advised to safely save their system-generated application number and password for future logins.
JEE Main 2022 Application Form
The candidates can log in to their accounts with their JEE Main application number and password for filling out the application form. They will have to fill up their personal details, the paper that they are applying for (Paper 2), the choice of examination cities, and details of their educational qualifications and upload the images and documents as required.
Candidates will have to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, category certificate (if applicable), and PwD certificate (wherever applicable). As per the JEE Main information bulletin, they are advised to follow the following instructions for the same:
The recent photograph should either be in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible, including ears against a white background.
The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb and 200 kb (clearly legible).
The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb and 30 kb (clearly legible)
The size of the scanned copy of the category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) should be in a PDF between 50 kb and 300 kb (clearly legible).
The size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in PDF between 50 kb and 300 kb (clearly legible)
Note: Please check your photograph and signature before submission of the application form. The application will be rejected if the photograph or signature is blurred or not visible to identify the candidate’s identity. In this case, no option for correction or revision will be permitted.
JEE Main 2022 Fee Payment
In the 3rd step, the candidates must pay the JEE Main Paper 2 examination fee. They can submit the fee only in the online mode through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. They have to download the confirmation page of the online application form that will be generated after successful payment by the candidate.
JEE Main Exam Centres 2022
NTA has released JEE Main 2022 exam centres along with city codes. JEE Main 2022 will be held across the country. It also includes cities outside India. Candidates are advised to select the test centre which is near to them. While filling out the application form, candidates must enter the choice of test city in the preferred order. Candidates will be given the option to choose four cities.
JEE Main Paper 2 Syllabus 2022
NTA has prescribed the JEE Main Paper 2 syllabi (2A and 2B) on its official website. Please note that the Paper 2 syllabus will be based on the corresponding subjects of Classes 11 and 12.
The B.Arch syllabus for JEE Main 2022 (Paper 2A) is divided into 3 sections:
Part-1: Mathematics
Part-2: Aptitude Test
Part-3: Drawing Test
The B. Planning syllabus for JEE Main 2022 (Paper 2B) is divided into 3 sections:
JAB-NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 Paper 2 question papers after the completion of the exam. Candidates can download the JEE Main 2022 question paper in PDF format. Along with that, they can also download their response sheets and the questions. For preparation, candidates can download the JEE Main Paper 2021 PDF with solutions available online and take the JEE Main mock tests regularly.
JEE Main Paper 2 Admit Card 2022
NTA has released the JEE Main admit card for Paper 2 Session 1 on its official website. Candidates can download their admit cards and check the details about their exam centre and exam date. If there is any error, they must contact the officials and get it rectified. It’s important to carry the JEE Main Paper 2 admit card to the exam centre. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to take the exam.
Candidates must reach the venue as per the reporting time mentioned in JEE Main admit card 2022.
No candidates will be allowed to enter after the gate’s closing time, and candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre premises before the exam gets over.
Candidates wearing any special attire due to religious reasons are advised to reach the exam centres earlier to undergo thorough checking and mandatory frisking.
The candidate must carry their JEE Main admit card along with all the other required documents to the exam centre.
Before reaching the JEE Main exam centres, candidates must fill out the self-declaration form duly, paste their passport-sized photograph, and put the left-hand thumb impression in the space provided.
Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as instructed by the centre invigilators.
It’s mandatory to follow all the norms of social distancing.
Candidates should take their seats immediately after entering the examination hall. They can log in and read all the exam-taking instructions before the commencement of the exam.
The invigilators will provide a pen/pencil and blank paper in the examination hall for rough work. Candidates must write their names and roll numbers at the top of their sheets, and they have to return that sheet to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.
JEE Main Paper 2 Answer Key 2022
JAB-NTA will release the JEE Main Paper 2 answer key after the exam is conducted. The provisional answer keys of JEE Main Paper 2 will be released by JAB-NTA a few days after the exam. Candidates can compare their responses and calculate their probable scores. Candidates can download the Paper 2 answer keys in PDF format by entering their login credentials.
If candidates find any discrepancies in JEE Main Paper 2 answer key, they can file objections by paying challenge fees of 200 rupees. Once they have gone through each challenge, they will release the final answer key.
JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2022
The JEE Main Paper 2 results 2022 are compiled based on the final answer key. Evaluation of multiple-choice questions of B.Arch and B.Planning will be carried out using the final answer keys. The actual marks obtained by candidates will be considered while preparing the JEE Main Paper 2 results.
For multi-shift papers, the raw marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to JAB-NTA scores.
The JAB-NTA will release the qualifying JEE Main cut-off marks just after announcing the JEE Main Paper 2 results, while JoSAA will release the admission cut-off (in the form of opening and closing ranks). The factors that determine the Paper 2 cut-offs are:
The number of aspirants appearing for Paper 2.
The difficulty level of the exam.
The total number of seats available in the participating institutes.

JoSAA Counselling Process 2022
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the body that will be conducting the counselling process of JEE Main 2022 for admission to different NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The counselling will be held in online mode only for six counselling rounds with two mock seat allotment rounds.
