October 23, 2024The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is the leading body for the Class 10 examination. The exam conducting body, JKBOSE was formed according to the 1975 law on School Education of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. It is an autonomous agency under the administration of the Jammu and Kashmir Government, based in Jammu and Srinagar. The respective body conducts exams for two zones- hard zones and soft zones. The soft zone exams are conducted before the hard zone ones.
Approximately 1 to 1.5 lakh students from both the Jammu and Kashmir divisions take the Class 10 exams. The soft zone exams are conducted in March, whereas the hard zone exams are conducted in April. JKBOSE conducts board examinations for Class 10 in Jammu and Kashmir every year. As mentioned earlier, the board exams are conducted in two parts- hard zone and soft zone. The Board serves as an autonomous body of education in the state while being administered by the state government. The JKBOSE now also administers the exam for the Ladakh region. The official date for the release of JKBOSE Class 10 admit card 2024 was announced in a notice. Students preparing for the JKBOSE Class 10 can keep a check on this space to know about the admit card. There will be a gap of around a month between the announcement of the results as they are conducted separately. The Jammu and Kashmir Board Class 10 Supplementary exam 2024 will be conducted tentatively in July and August for the hard and soft zones respectively. The supplementary exams will be held separately for both of the zones as results are announced separately.
