JKCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
It’s important that the aspirants should check the complete eligibility requirements before they register for the exam. Here you can find the eligibility criteria of JKCET 2021.
Resident
Aspirants must be the permanent resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh.
Qualification
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with at least 45% marks if they belong to Open Merit category including children of Defence personnel, State police personnel, paramilitary forces, as well as aspirants with sports proficiency (40% for reserved categories of SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC).
The candidates who are appearing or have appeared for their 10+2 board examination in 2022 are also eligible for JKCET, provided they have qualified the 10+2 examination before the result of JKCET 2022 is declared.
Age Limit
Aspirants must be of minimum 17 years of age as on December 31, 2022. However, there is no upper age limit for appearing in JKCET 2022.
Compulsory Subjects
Aspirants must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in their Class 12.
JKCET 2022 Application Form

Step-1: Registration
Firstly, candidates will have to complete their JKCET 2022 registration by entering their basic information such as name, mobile number, email ID and date of birth. They will also have to create a password which can be used for future logins into their candidate portal.
Upon successful registration, candidates will be receiving an email containing their JKCET application number.
Step-2: Filling of Application Form
Now, the next step is to fill the application form carefully. Login using the application and password, fill in your academic, personal and communication details along with the choice of exam city. Once you have entered all your details, click on Next.
Step-3: Uploading of Images
Scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, residence proof and category certificates (if any) are required to be uploaded as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step-4: Fee Payment
You will now have to make a payment of the application fees for Rs. 1200 in online mode using credit/debit card or net banking. Download the receipt and save it on your device.
Step-5: Form Submission & Acknowledgement
Finally, you can review all the details entered in the application form and click on the ‘Submit’ button. Take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference. You can access the acknowledgement and save it on your device.

JKCET Admit Card 2022
The successfully registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards of JKCET 2022 two weeks prior to the exam. To access the admit card, the candidates will have to log in to their candidate portal using the application number and password.
JKCET Admit card will contain all the information regarding the examination centre address, date, time and general guidelines. It’s mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam centres. Failing this, candidates will not be allowed to give their exam under any circumstances.
JKCET Answer Key 2022
Candidates will be able to check the correct answers of the questions asked in the entrance exam using the JKCET Answer Key released by the authorities. The officials will release the provisional keys and will allow the candidates to file objections in case they find any discrepancy in them. Once the authority goes through each of the challenges, they will then release the final answer key on its official website.

JKCET 2022 Result
The officials of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) will announce the result of JKCET 2022 tentatively in May 2022 on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their JKCET scorecards by logging into the website.
Please note that JKCET result will be released in the form of scorecard consisting of marks secured by candidates in individual subjects along with the total marks and rank obtained.
JKCET Merit List 2022
Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the JKCET 2022 exam, the officials will prepare a JKCET 2022 merit list. On the basis of this merit list, candidates will be further called to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process.
The JKCET merit list will be released on the official website after the results have been declared.
JKCET Counselling 2022
JKBOPEE will conduct the JKCET 2022 counselling in the offline mode. Candidates who qualify the exam will get featured in the merit list (in the order of marks secured) will be called to appear for counselling and seat allotment process.
During the counselling process, the document verification process will be conducted along with the choice filling and locking. The allotment will be done to the shortlisted candidates based on the obtained ranks, preferences and availability of seats.
