November 13, 2024JKCET Exam 2025 Centres – Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test, better known as JKCET, is a state-level exam. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) will conduct the JKCET 2025 exam in June 2025, (tentatively) this year, across 21 JKCET exam centres. The exam is a front door for candidates to get admission to several undergraduate engineering courses in government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir.

We expect the JKCET 2025 exam pattern to remain the same as the previous year. JKCET 2025 will consist of a single paper of three sections with 180 questions in total with a time duration of 3 hours. These questions will be multiple choice objective types (MCQs) carrying one mark (+1) each. There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Note: The candidates belonging to the reserved category must have achieved at least 40% of the marks in their qualification examinations.
The JKCET examination will take place in the JKCET exam centres: 15 centres in Srinagar and 6 centres in Jammu. All the candidates will get the choice to select their JKCET exam centres while filling out their JKCET application form.

Candidates can fill out the JKCET application form via online mode only on the official website of the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE). All candidates must upload scanned copies of their photos, signature and other mandatory documents.

After filling out the JKCET application form, we advise the candidates to review all the details carefully and then proceed towards making the application fee payment.
All candidates will have to make a payment of INR 1200 as an application fee which they can pay through Credit Card, Debit Card, and Net Banking as per their convenience. Candidates must note that there will be no relaxation of the reserved category on the application fee.

A1: No, the JKCET 2025 application forms are not out yet. However, the concerned authority has released the tentative schedule. As per the tentative schedule, the JKCET application form submission will start on March 2025.
