JKCET Tie-Breaking Policy
If two or more candidates receive the same number of marks in the entrance exam, their inter-se-merit is determined by taking these points into account.
They consider the marks received in the JKCET 2025 Mathematics.
Marks received in the JKCET Physics if marks obtained in the Mathematics are equal.
Considers the marks obtained in the JKCET Chemistry if marks are equal in Mathematics and Physics.
If the marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are equal, the older candidates will be considered higher on merit.
JKCET 2025 Merit List
The JKBOPEE will release the JKCET merit list in descending order of the candidates’ inter-se merit in the entrance test for the open merit category and separately for each reserved category. To allocate seats to candidates from the reserved categories in government engineering institutes, JKBOPEE will take inter-se merit within each reserved category into account.
If candidates from a reserved category are fewer than the seats available for that category, the remaining vacancies must be filled precisely in order of merit from among the applicants in the open merit category.
