KCET Counselling 2025: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 counselling online after the declaration of results, most expected in the last week of July 2025. KCET Counselling 2025 Step-wise Procedure

KCET 2025 Counselling Registration & Document Verification

The first stage of the KCET counselling process will be conducted after the declaration of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2025 results. The document verification procedure will be conducted at specified centres. Candidates will be provided with a unique ID and password after completing the verification. The following documents must be produced during verification:

  • KCET 2025 application form printout
  • KCET admit card
  • Proof of application fee payment
  • Scorecards of Class 10 and 12
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Study Certificate Countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI

KCET 2025 Document Verification: Other Documents (If Required)

The following is the list of extra documents candidates must keep in hand if asked for:

  • Caste / Caste Income Certificate
  • Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc., (For candidates asserting eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent)
  • Kannada Medium Certificate
  • Rural Study Certificate
  • Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D

KCET 2025 Counselling: Choice Filling and Locking

For choice filling and locking, candidates must log in to their account using the User ID and Password provided during Document Verification. After logging in, the candidates can check the seat matrix, i.e. the branch-wise and category-wise availability of seats in various colleges. Candidates must fill up their choices and lock them before the last KCET choice filling and locking process date.

KCET Counselling 2025: Seat Allotment

After the conclusion of the choice-filling process, a mock seat allotment result will be declared to let candidates understand their chances of admission based on their merit and preferences. This will help candidates make changes in their preferences. Two rounds of seat allotment, a second extended round and a special round will be conducted online during Karnataka CET 2025 counselling. Candidates must download and take printouts of the provisional allotment letter.

KCET Counselling 2025: Reporting to the Allotted College

The last stage of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2025 counselling process involves visiting the allotted college. While reporting, candidates must carry all the necessary documents, including the allotment letter and pay the college fee to confirm the allotment and secure admission.
