KCET Notification 2024: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) published the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 notification on January 10, 2024. The KCET notification includes everything about the KCET 2024, from the exam date, application form submission process, counselling schedule, and more. – KEA released the KCET 2024 official brochure on January 10, 2024. Also, the date to apply online has been revised. Now, aspirants can apply till February 20, 2024, and submit the fee up to February 23, 2024.

All the candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as they apply for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. Eligibility for KCET is a precondition prescribed by the university guidelines. Failing to meet the same may lead to the rejection of the applicant straightaway. Apart from particular instructions, the academic criteria differ for different courses. It is mandatory to have English as a language in the Karnataka UG CET 2024 exam.
Academic Qualifications
Academic qualifications for different courses differ accordingly. So we will explain in detail below:

| B.Tech and B.E course | Candidates must have passed the Class 12th/PUC examination in the English language. Candidates must have studied science, i.e. PCM, in Class 12. The minimum mark required to participate in the KCET examination is 50%, Those who fall under the reserved category are supposed to secure a minimum of 45% marks. |
| B.V. Sc. and A.H. | Candidates must have passed the Class 12th/PUC examination in the English language. They must have studied PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in class 12th as the main subjects. Candidates must secure a minimum of 45%, while those who fall under the reserved category will be provided with a relaxation of 5% |
| B.Pharm | Candidates must have passed the Class 12th/PUC examination in the English language. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects in 10+2. The minimum marks required in 10+2 to participate in the selection process of B.Pharm are 45% and 40% for the general and reserved categories, respectively. OR Candidates with a Pharmacy diploma can also participate in the B.Pharm course. On the condition that PCI approves the institute. |

Candidates who qualify for the KCET exam 2024 will be invited to the Karnataka UG CET 2024 counselling rounds. This will be the last phase of the admission process in the respective program.

Ans: KCET 2024 will be held on April 18 and 19, 2024, at various designated centres in Karnataka.
Ans: Aspirants can submit the application form from January 10 to February 20, 2024. They can submit the fee till February 23, 2024, up to 5:30 p.m.
