KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2023
Candidates willing to appear for the exam must be well aware of the eligibility requirements before filling up the KEAM application form 2023. The following section provides the KEAM eligibility criteria:
Age Criteria
Applicants must attain the age of 17 before December 2023. There is no upper age limit for Engineering and Architecture.
Education Qualification
Here are the requirements for education:
For the KEAM Engineering Exam 2023
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Higher Secondary Examination from Kerala Board in 2023 or other equivalent examinations, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects. The candidates must obtain at least 45% marks in the above subjects.
- If the candidate has not taken Chemistry, the marks scored in Computer Science shall be considered.
- If the candidate has not taken Chemistry and Computer Science, then the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered.
- If the candidate has not taken any of the subjects – Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology –the marks obtained by the candidate in Biology shall be considered.
For Architecture Course
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or any equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics as compulsory subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma examinations with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible for the Architecture course.
In addition to the academic eligibility prescribed above, candidates willing to get an Architecture course must appear for the ‘National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)’ to be conducted by the Council of Architecture and to get qualified in NATA on or before 31.07.2023.
Candidates willing to appear for the exam must register themselves on the official website before filling out the application form. During the registration process, candidates will receive an application number.

2nd Step: Fill Out the KEAM Application Form
- Log in using the credentials.

KEAM Exam Day Guidelines 2023
